“Our little frenchie girl had been having routine tail pocket infections and was in constant discomfort. After speaking with our vet, they recommended we inquire about tail amputation. Obviously I was scared to death because she is my little baby but after the initial meeting with Dr. Oshin we felt like he would have no problems performing what needed to be done. We got the printed out quote for care which was in line with what we were anticipating and scheduled the surgery. I ended up having to push the surgery back about a month which they accommodated with no issue. In that time I had more questions I wanted to call and ask the Dr just to put my mind at ease again and the front desk staff was wonderful to take my questions down and the next day Dr Oshin gave me a call and we talked through all of it. Day of surgery we dropped her off and everyone was very kind. Dr Oshin called with an update later that day and said everything went great and we scheduled her pick up the following day. When we got her that next day, the staff was wonderful - answered all our questions, gave Maizy lots of love, and fully explained aftercare to us. It has now been about 3 months and Maizy has never been happier! Dr Oshin did a PHENOMENAL job and the surgery sight healed up beautifully. Maizy had never shown any signs of discomfort even starting on day 1 at home. She seemed in less pain post op than she had with the tail! I can’t say enough good things about NGVS!!

Oh also, we had tried to schedule with UGA as well to get 2 opinions but we couldn’t even get UGA to call us back or get us on the calendar for a pre-op consultation….communication there seemed to fall through the cracks but I NEVER had an issue with that at NGVS. They were extremely prompt and had fast appointments available as well. 10/10 🩷 Thank you for taking care of my fur baby and keeping my stressed and worried dog mom heart happy the whole way through!”
