This store wasted my time. The Pokemon event locator website told me it was first come first serve. So I drove an hour and showed up at 11:30am, which is when registration begins (event starts at 12:30pm). However, when I arrived, I was told that the event capped. Supposedly there was some mythical pre-registration. That was not posted anywhere on the Pokemon website. It said FIRST COME FIRST SERVE.
The person that helped me also didn’t add me to the waitlist. I didn’t know there was a waitlist. So when they started pulling people off the waitlist later, I didn’t get called. Store wasted my time.

Many retro video games and consoles for sale, including some in-box consoles. The last time I went, they had an in-box NES. I purchased a Gamecube Promotional Disc in neat mint quality. Would recommend.

*edited my review to comment that I DID email them back as requested, they DID find my account, and they apologized for the miswording on their reply to my review.
I brought in 20 games to sell, and VGT quoted me only $4 for all 20! When I took them to another store, they offered me $62 for the same games. While committing practical highway robbery when purchasing games from people, they've also got a really decent selection of used games and consoles available. I still buy many of my games here since they've worked without fail, but some games are a bit pricey compared to the market value. Convenience > Price.

It would get a 5 if aesthetic, organization and upkeep of everything were the only things that matter. Because its like a beautiful gaming library, or a museum. A tribute to the beep boops that bring us joy. It was nice that all the games were in well lit cases, as if they were treasures in a dungeon.
But from the moment I arrived to the moment I left, not a one-of the plentiful staff, said a word to me. Which I wouldn't care as much about-if each person that came in after me was also not greeted. There were staffers that walked all around me a time or two as I stared into cases like Toon Link lookin at an item-and offered no help.
Of course I could always open my mouth and say something, I own that, but ultimately the experience was just disappointing. It wasnt the gamers for gamers experience I thought it'd be-at least not towards me.
I don't think it was personal, but it wasn't personable either, which is the issue.
I did find the games and collectibles I was lookin for but, I don't know. Maybe next time.
Gorgeous place otherwise.

These people rock! My wife and I going to be a returning customers. The management and staff are super friendly. Prices are beyonds fair. The quality of games, consoles, figures, and etc are fantastic. And when they are not the best quality, they don't price gouge you.
They gave us a killer deal on Skylander Figures ( ranging from Sypro's Adventure to Imagianators). About 23 figures, 3 Wii games for Skylanders, and a portal - all for under 90$!
Also some of the staff/management is capable of modifying consoles. My wife bought me a PS4 Pro 1 TB that that was modded with a SSD - thanks to one of the staff. The console was only 250$.
What a way to spend memorial day!

I live over an hour away and I came in today to trade in my Nintendo switch. The staff was SO friendly and helpful. GameStop and other businesses will try to low ball you but this place gives you a fair price and are super friendly. Places like Video Game trader are rare you can tell that it’s an honest business that wants to do right by their customers. It was definitely worth the drive and I will definitely be returning in the future.

I use to like this place alot but here recently bad experience all the way around completely and I will tell you why I took 6 of the top games there he wants to offer me 4 dollars lol are you serious no but get this this is why I'm quitting completely from coming to this place because I have brought a stack of Pokemon cards with 100 more of holograms and they said there was no good ones at all twice but then I take the same stack down to wasteland gaming in Duluth they offer me over 91 dollars had a Charizard that was really rare in the stack and so much more I recommend to not come here unless you want 3 dollars or less for 25 games and 2 dollars for a stack of holograms lol
