I wish I would’ve read the reviews before using this place. If you care about your pets, stay far away, we had a sick visit, got sent home with no medications or treatment and charged $300 for labs, our dog passed away within hours of leaving this place, zero compassion and completely rude when confronted about the situation. First call the receptionist pretended to be the manager and promised a call back but never did, second call I was told there’s no manager and dr hogan would call me but decided she was too good to call and had her assistant do so. After reading the reviews I realized we’re not the first ones that have been done wrong and their pets passing shortly after seeing them. STAY AWAY!!!!!

Dr. Hogan, Danielle, & staff are amazing!! They always treat my pups like family, very timely, and professional. I wouldn't take them any where else!

About 5 years ago this clinic was ok and did a fair job on treating animals and had fair rates. But after I took a lot of animals here I noticed they seemed to be short on Vet Techs and seemed to always be in a rush and the rates stating increasing drastically. My last experience was the first week of January 2024 when me and my wife took her service dog to be treated because he was having a hard time climbing on the couch and up the front stairs when we took him outside to do his business. I took him on a Friday morning as a walk in after I had to plead with them to work him in. Keep in mind I have taken a lot of animals to this vet over the years and was definitely a patient and existing customer. I had them check him and they said he was ok, they were not sure after many test and x-rays. I told the vet he was in a lot of pain and she said hound dogs were drama queens and always over dramatized. They sent him home with an anti inflammatory and some pain medicine. He was still have a hard time getting around all day Saturday, that night he got worse about lying around and not getting up. We got up Sunday morning to take him to the animal hospital in Rome, but before we could get him up to get in the car he passed away. How do you go from him being a drama queen and he will be ok on Friday to dying on Sunday morning and charged me over 800.00 dollars. I would never take my animals to her unless you don't care about your animal.

I LOVE this place. They are so kind with aggressive animals / fear aggressive animals, and are the only people my dog actually likes! They get you in and out. The prices are good considering the only other decent vet in Calhoun is Best friends. If you want an affordable vet who gets you in and out this is your place! I absolutely love the people there & so do my animals! They also have mostly everything online which is so convenient. It gets delivered to your house, and if you need flea meds they set it up to deliver monthly to your house! It’s such plus. I recommend this place it’s amazing and the inside is nice compared to the other 2 vets around here. Thank you guys for keeping my pets happy and healthy!

Doc Hogan and Danielle have helped me for years with my kitties. One has since passed away, but the other is being treated for thyroid. They were never freaked out by the smells there. Clinic normally smells fresh, not like doggy, pee, nor pine sol. I will continue to visit, they are like family after over 16 years.

They will price gouge you and not fix the problem. I will never take my dogs there again. Very very incompetent!! Don’t waste your money!!

just filed a complaint with the better business bureau for excessive cost and incompetence. They will take your money and not fix your pets problems. They act they don't know what to do!

Dr. Hogan and her staff are the best! My dogs love coming there! Well…at least the social one does and my nervous one is always treated with the utmost respect. I completely trust them and highly recommend!

Absolutely 5/5. My pet was in a urgent need of care after being stuck on the Christmas tree and this place tended to us within an hour! I am grateful for their reassurance and helping my pet feel better!

I've never felt so awkward trying to carry on friendly conversation and ask about aftercare of the 3 cats I had spayed and neutered. Not a friendly staff. At. All. Definitely not the friendly service you receive at Gordon Animal Hospital, who we normally use but they did not accept the Spay Georgia certificates we had. I'd rather pay full price somewhere that I know my pets are well cared for and where the staff knows how to show personal relations.
