I recently moved here from Woodstock. I took my 7 year old dog for a full senior panel as I was worried about her being overweight. I paid over $450 for that visit. I was notified by the doctor that bloodwork was good except, my dog was heartworm positive. I started her on high dose antibiotics the next day per heartworm protocol and another $230 plus. I decided to take her to our vet in Woodstock based on comfort level and history. That vet did 2 in house tests and sent to the lab. All three were heartworm negative!!! I left a message for the doctor or office manager to call me to discuss. As there is concern that my dog and another dog's labs must have been mixed up. Candice called me and did not want to hear they could have made a mistake and wanted to blame the lab they sent it to. I stated that they are the ones that sent it there and someone needed to take accountability. I have been a complete basketcase for a week and my dog has been on high dose antibiotics for no reason. She stated the office manager was back Monday and she didn't know what to do. I just stated again, I am worried that there is another dog with heartworms and they don't know. She got very hostile and again said that would be the labs fault. When I said I was just trying to explain the situation she said "this conversation is over" and hung up. I hope to hear something positive from them Monday. However, it seems they clearly make mistakes and don't want to rectify them. Stay away or get second opinions!! I will also be disputing the bloodwork and antibiotic charges with my credit card company.

This office was kind enough to see me on an emergency basis. My puppy was diagnosed as negative for parvo. They said that it was suffering and that I should put it down. I told them I would take it home to bury it. Now Candice at the front desk has deemed me inactive due to my behavior . My dog did have parvo. It died 5 minutes after I got it home. They were wrong. I made an appointment to get two dogs vaccinated for rabies and my appointment was canceled by Candice . If they cared about animals they would have vaccinated my remaining two puppies.

The medical staff is outstanding. The office staff is a train wreck. They fail to schedule appointments properly and the office manager is extremely rude and confrontational. We had recently had treatments for our dog costing over $1300. I attempted to order medications from "PetMeds", the office manager insisted I bring in my dog to be reweighed before they "approved" my order. while discussing this with the office manage, she became confrontational, would not permit me to speak and then hung up on me. Do not take your pets here if You value customer service or Your time.

I found the staff to be very friendly. Grateful they were able to fit me in my 14yr old Cavalier hadn't been doing well lately and not eating. The vet took the time to ask questions and go over treatment .

Been going here for 2 years, but sadly started having problems. Right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. Terrible for parking also. Front desk has communication problems. Now looking for new vet. I would recommend a different veterinary office for those of you looking.

Update: I was hoping to write a more positive update. We all make mistakes, but how you handle mistakes is what it is all about. I never imagined that they would try to shame me for my experience this morning. I could not believe the lack of customer service and retaliation I faced for writing this review. The doctor was amazing, so this is not about the doctors there. When I picked my dog up, it was worse the second time around. They called and said she was ready. I was already in the parking spot waiting. I said I have been in the same spot. I went to the bathroom for a few minutes at a gas station, but I came back to my same spot much earlier. After 30 minutes of them saying she was ready, no one ever came out. I was confused. Do I call back and ask if everything is OK? Why would they say she was ready and not be out when I told them I'm right here. I assumed they were busy, so I just waited. Not a big deal. The doctor finally did come out and was very nice. I appreciate her being so kind in what my dog needs. A few minutes later Robin came out and handed me my previous review and said she didnt appreciate my review. An honest review is not something you appreciate if it is not to your liking. An apology would have been what most people in customer service would do. Instead, she tried to make me feel ashamed of my experience. I told her I was confused on why they said she was ready, but my dog didnt come out for a long time. She said I was supposed to call. That was her response in a short, rude way. You guys call me to say she is ready and I tell you I've been sitting in the same spot in the parking lot, and I'm supposed to call again to remind you I'm in the same spot? That doesn't make any sense. Robin handed me my dogs records to ensure I go to another vet. Instead of making things right, she made things worse. Candace was also the person on the phone who was not very kind, and she was very short in her response. This is not to tear anyone apart. We should all take comments into consideration to do better. It takes me more effort to write a negative review than it does for you guys to give better customer experiences. Please stop getting offended on what I experienced. Simply do better for other customers. I have had great experiences in the past, but these past few times have not been great. If a customer has a negative experience, please do not say you don't appreciate their experience. I hope you all can take this into consideration, so others can have a better experience with their loving animals. This is not a bashing session. This is asking you to be kinder. I am appalled at the way this was handled. I never thought a business would shame me for a previous review instead of trying to remedy the situation.
