My husband went in about a month ago to return pine straw we didn't use, and in the process it was determined that whoever rang him up charged him for a cheaper product. When he didn't offer to pay the difference the older lady "helping" him behind the customer service counter called his morality into question, and as my husband walked out told her coworker that "he basically stole from us". We've been Home Depot customers for years and years, the Riverstone location specifically, but I can guarantee we will never step foot back in this store.

It’s been a long 3 weeks. 4 different plumbing companies and nearly a 1000 bucks later, I decide to go rent a power snake. The service I got at the tool rental department was better than the service I’ve received from anyone for the past 3 weeks! Fixed my problem! Very impressed with the customer service at this location!

Kristi has been so helpful and calm during our refrigerator fiasco. She is an asset to Home Depot. Job well done Kristi.

We received excellent customer service last night from Kristie in Appliances. They were not going to be able to get the washer we wanted delivered until sometime in November and we needed one sooner. We went to a competitor and bought a washing machine there ONLY because they had it in stock and we needed it now. The store associate made me feel like I was bothering her and was not at all appreciative of my business. Even when a manager was called to do an override, he did not show any care or appreciation either. Because of this rather than spending another $1000 with them we went back to Home Depot and ordered the dryer - because of Kristie's outstanding customer service.

it' 11:10 pm and still have not received the Washed we purchased more than 2 weeks ago . first they said it would be deliver between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm . then they said between 8:00 and 10:45 .. Really.. I'm gonna stay up all night for this . It's now 11:20pm and no one is here and no one has called .I called the store and they said we can cancel it and wait 2 more weeks .. What ? where is the customer service .. they don't care .. they said it's a 3rd party and they have no control over it . I say it's a reflection of your store . Again , they blame it on the 3rd party and if I cancel I have to wait another 2 weeks . I can say this , I will never buy from Home Depot again , because apparently they have no control over who they contract to deliver the merchandise . buyer beware before you purchase and try to get it delivered .. I would go to another place like Lowe's and see if they can help you. they just increased my limit .. I will not be needing that . maybe they don't need me , but any customer you loose is to much in my opinion . Please go somewhere else .

I made an appointment with Home Depot for a contractor to come out and give an estimate for building a fence. They told me it would take a few weeks to get a contractor and I was fine with this. I booked the appointment and took the day off. The day finally comes and the contractor cancels last minute and tells me that home depot will have to reschedule because that's not his job. Home Depot never called me to reschedule or anything and the contractors they choose to work with are clearly unreliable. Very disappointed. Will not be going through Home Depot for any of my construction projects with my new home.

Ordering online is easy. However, it fails to set up delivery - and the buyer has no way to know that was not done. Customer service is not easy- automated phone system makes it a pain to discuss the delay in delivery with an actual person. Then when delivery is scheduled- you get a 10 hour window, so a whole day off work (unless you’re able to work from home). Then said contracted delivery company drops one whole pallet of flooring and says the store did not properly shrink

Ordered an item last night for curbside pickup. Tried to pick up today and when checked in for curbside was ignored. Had to go on which defeats the purpose of curbside. Then order prev cancelled was one given with paperwork for correct order instead of correct items. New rep was confused and passed me to her senior member and instead of trying to find my items just had someone pull the items from the floor again. When asked why my order prev placed and told was ready wasn’t there Dee in cust service had an attitude and did nothing to see what the problem was. No apology for the error and took 3 times as long as had I just walked in and bought off the shelf myself. Defeats the purpose

I am giving my local Home Depot two stars, sorry team as a former employee your standards have dropped. The zombie greeter at the front door is perfectly positioned to keep the wall standing and the automatic doors constantly open. Not one single greeting was uttered upon arrival. The store overall is clean over all but getting run over by carts on the same aisle as you shop not pleasurable at all. One of your employees thought it good to drive a cart right behind us as we shopped for bulbs. He could of easily just gone on the other side of the merchandise. What happened to your employees not following customers on a narrow aisle. Geez!! I will say I love the self check out vs standing in line waiting to have all our items scanned. On that note you've earned another star. Just get the staff to be just a bit more happy to be employed( Especially during this pandemic). It might not be the job they want but it's currently the job they have. So make it better than they expect it to be. Smiles are optional!

Chris in the garden center Was a huge help to me. He loaded 6 large bales of wheat straw into my car and tied down my trunk for me. The young man that rang me up in the garden center was also friendly and helpful.

Only thing they don't rent is chairs to sit in while you wait in line for 30+ minutes for tool pickup and return. I like how easy it is to rent, but this is the second time out of 3 that I've had to wait 30 minutes to return or get a tool. And that's only with 3-4 people in line... Something's got to change!

If it was possible to give the store zero stars, I would do that. The customer service at this location is horrific. I would avoid it at all cost. Trying to avoid crowds and COVID exposure I placed a pick up order. After waiting 20 minutes outside after using their check in procedure, and not being able to reach anyone at the store, I walked in. I then waited another ten minutes in the customer service area, and finally was able to get the product. I received a cursory sorry, but I would never use them again. Don't waste your time with a pick up order. Use amazon or Lowe's instead.

PRICE GOUGING (Retail) I had in mind getting a replacement dishwasher. My GE still works fine but is probably 10 yrs old. So I looked around for low priced units. Lowe's had a Frigidaire for $349 and Home Depot had a similar low cost one for $398. I would have bought either EXCEPT the charge to install them was $139!
