Horrible Experience with UPS – Unresolved Issues, Costly Mistakes, and Terrible Customer Service
I have had an absolutely nightmarish experience dealing with UPS, and I feel compelled to share it with everyone I know so that no one else has to go through what I did. What started as a simple issue has turned into a nearly two-week-long ordeal filled with frustration, financial loss, and time wasted.
Over the course of my attempt to resolve this issue, I called UPS multiple times, speaking with at least five different representatives. None of them spoke clear English, and every conversation felt like I was talking to someone who didn’t understand the urgency of my situation. I spent over six hours on the phone in total, trying to explain my issue to one person after another, but each call only led to more confusion and no real progress.
Despite my repeated efforts to get my problem resolved, the issue remained unaddressed after almost two weeks of constant follow-up. To make matters worse, I’ve been forced to pay over $500 in additional fees because of their incompetence and negligence. The financial impact is just one part of the story – I’ve also had to take time off work to deal with this mess, which I can’t afford.
To say I’m frustrated would be an understatement. UPS’s lack of accountability and terrible customer service has made this situation significantly harder. I will absolutely be sharing my experience with everyone I know and will do everything I can to prevent anyone I know from ever doing business with UPS. This company’s complete disregard for its customers is unacceptable, and I would advise anyone reading this to think twice before trusting UPS with their important shipments.
I will never use their services again.

Extremely rude, before I was told it was a $1 to tape a box she rudely told me I can buy some brand new tape from their store if I want to re-tape my box.
I’ll gladly pay $1 for tape but for her to not offer that as the first available option is ridiculous!
1st and last time going to this UPS store. This location isn’t doing a great job of representing the “UPS” brand.

Fantastic location. The young lady running the store is exceptional. The service is great, the employees are great. I've got nothing but praise for my experiences there.

The staff are always very efficient at the store. I’m generally greeted with a smile which is not always the case at other locations. I also love that this location has a kiosk where the customer can initiate their own Amazon return.

If I could put zero stars I would. This location is very poorly run compared to every other location I have ever been to. The management is highly unprofessional and very rude to their customers. They charge for pieces of tape! No other store does that. I have found that I have been overcharged when I later review my receipts. This is bad ethics and a horrible way to run a business. I will drive out of my way to go to the location in Macedonia because Riverstone is just awful! Do not go here.

Stopped by to drop off a couple of packages on Wednesday during the lunch hour. The line was out the door. There was ONE person working - Enevjai. She was very patient and courteous to each customer, despite the pressure of the situation. She deserves a raise for keeping the doors open!!
The self serve drop off machines were not working which did not help the situation.
Not a great way to run a business

If there is more than 1 or 2 people in the store then you're gonna be there for a while it seems very disorganized and the employee seem untrained in the various equipments and technology and how to use them as they're always calling to get information or various passwords to use their systems.

I went into the store on Tuesday, May 27. I actually went in the first time and it was very backed up crowded so I left and came back again and it was still backed up and crowded. However, the young lady working in the store was by herself with one brand new trainee. She was so professional and handled every situation with efficiency and grace. I was so impressed with her and wish I could clone employees where I work like that.

The ladies at the store this morning 5/24/2025 were so helpful! They were very kind and sweet to me with my printing and helping me cut tags that were printed! I give them a 10/10 all the way around! Thank you ladies!!!

I’ve used UPS services for years and yes I’m fully aware they are independently owned and priced according from the owner. Sent a fax to this location in Canton since I was not by my go to in Hickory Flat. Picked up a fax and they charged me $3 a page. All other locations charge $1. A total rip off and they rude to boot. The owner (wife) walked over as I was checking out and actually tried looking through my paperwork and I told her it was not her concern and picked them up. She had no reason to “look through” my papers since a notary was not needed. Do not use this location! A total rip off, rude and all around bad business. Hickory Flat is a wonderful location and owners. Never had an issue. Just my two cents since I don’t appreciate or respect price gouging!
