My 86 year old housebound mother is out of propane, but she is signed up for the auto pay and fill service. She is completely out for 2 days now and I can reach no one. The customer service number in a foreign country keep cutting off in middle of call, and I can’t find any local help. Are these the people you would trust with an elderly persons need for heat ???I don’t think so, this is what our service industry has become. You should be embarrassed and ashamed, Amerigas !!What if it was your mother ?

This company is a joke! We have a leak and can’t even get someone to come out and figure out where it’s leaking. Customer service department is a joke. Have 2 children and we have freezing temperatures outside we have to use space heaters which is a hazard with a toddler!

2 stars for CS willingness to help. BUT, zero stars for emergency delivery for tank at zero. We were assured same day delivery and after 3 confirmation calls and repeated assurance of delivery...no gas, 2nd night. We have a special needs child at home and not sure what we will do tomorrow.

I have paid for 200 gallons of propane on the 12th. Eleven days later, it hasn’t even been scheduled for delivery yet. I have less than 8% left in 10 degree temperatures. Please schedule me for delivery! We need heat!At this point it’s clear that AmeriGas does not care about their customers. Can’t wait to get a different supplier!

Used to be a good company but since UGI bought them out it's been nothing but greed. Rates, deliveries, annual charges, etc... there is nothing good about this company. Save yourself the grief and give your business to one of the smaller local companies.

You delivered 44 gallons of fuel on a tank that was 55% charging a fuel surcharge so I can call you up and order more fuel for another surcharge. Calhoun GA Amerigas is a true rip off company.

Worst “customer experience advocates” ever! They’ve closed local offices and sent their calls to another country. Broken English and reading from scripts no matter what you say. And slowest response time ever. Went with Rome gas - super nice people and at my house within 48 hours!!

They undoubtedly have the worst customer service available. It shouldn't take 30 minutes on The phone to order or check status of your order...and that's not counting the wait time . I understand the wait time with high volume calls being made. Its after you finally talk to a person it's someone from India that you cant understand a word they're saying and they screw up the order or not getting placed at all. Inmybcase they

Do not use them. They were sent a check for $350 in middle January for my propane. It took several phone calls till February 19 to get it credited to my account. I ordered a delivery and their website said latest delivery would be by March 2. Called national customer service on the third of March and they were no help, transferred back to local who said it hadn't been routed yet . Never again.

If I could rate them 0/5 stars, I would. This is honestly the first review I've ever written, and it's because I want to warn everyone thinking about setting up propane with AmeriGas to not even waste the time. I began this terrible journey back in November of 2018. I immediately received an application to set up my services and was told that I would hear back shortly as to when I could schedule a delivery. Fast forward to the beginning of January 2019. I called because I still had not received any type of confirmation that they had reviewed my account or were going to set up a date to perform a "safety check". I called to set up a date for the beginning of February 2019, and confirmed the details: 2/1/19 from 12-4pm. I even took the day off work (which I'm sure most do when they set up these services). On 1/25/19, I received a call stating that the technician was at my house and they had changed the date (after planning the day off 3 weeks in advance). The technician reached out to me and told me that he was "at my house as scheduled, but no one was here." On my lunch, I called AmeriGas and spoke to one of the customer service representatives who proceeded to tell me that "the lady who set up the date must have input it wrong into the system". I informed her that the date was wrong, and that I was at work and not able to get home for the technician to perform the "safety check". I confirmed the details for the technician to come out the following Friday 2/1/19 from 12-4pm once again. On the morning of 2/1/19, I called at 8:30am and spoke to Lisa to confirm this appointment. Around 3pm, I had yet to see any signs of AmeriGas so I called again. I was told that I was still on the list, and the technician should be on their way, and that there might have been an emergency or other delay preventing them from coming to my house, but that the technicians often work overtime to accommodate all customers. Pleased with this response, I waited until 3:54pm to call once again and be placed on a 30 minute hold prior to hanging up, as Lisa was "looking into the situation." I have yet to hear back from her, and honestly, hope I never do. I will never contact this company again, and I hope this deters others from seeking their services as well!!

I've been waiting almost 3 months to have someone come fill my tank. Still no call for fill up appointment. When I call them I just get "oh they will call you". We have been using electric heaters because of it and it has made our power bill sky high. Very irritated with this company. If I could give zero stars I would.

I don't know what Amerigas you guys are reviewing. I called at 2:30 on Wednesday, 48 hours after the weather service says in the mid 20's for overnight low and mid 30's for a high just days after high 60's and so I wasn't surprised when Lisa said 7-10 days BUT we will do our best.NEXT morning at 10:a.m. the dogs are barking like crazy and I'm looking everywhere except where my tanks are- THAT you can't be where the dogs see a truck or other cars visiting. Well you could have knocked me down with a feather. I walk around other side of house and there's that big white cylinder tanker truck with that big red bearded driver who is the smilingest guy just pumping away. Less than 20 hrs from phone call to fill up. What great serj8vice. I felt like, if you call at the beginning of a cold snap and don't like the possible delayed delivery promise you get, you can't blame the poor dispatcher. I truly believe that me being friendly and understanding with them gets me good understanding and service in return. Thanks Lisa. Thanks Amerigas.
