Gracious staff and we love Dr. Potts. They are kind to my cats and they will also calm the owner if you tend to freak out over your fur baby. They really work you in for emergencies and it is easy to get a regular appointment. We have used these vets for several years.

Out of all the veterinarians that are in Bartow county, I like Bartow animal hospital more than any of them. The veterinarians are very courteous and kind. I'll continue to be doing business with them for many years to come

Do NOT take your animals to Dr. Whites under any circumstances!!! My fiancé and I took our cat about 1-2 weeks ago because she had multiple mass sized bumps on her head by her ears. He shaved the top of her head, felt around and said that he has never seen a situation like that before. She’s allergic to fleas but the bumps on her were more like scabs. He shaved the top of her head, gave her a flea treatment and told us to keep giving her the pills prescribed by a different vet. He didn’t even do a check up, tests or a head CT. She died on Tuesday. I found out last night that my aunt took her dog to him as well about 2 weeks before we took our cat, and the same thing happened to her. He didn’t do any testing and her dog died. Please be cautious.

I feel I need to post this. It has been some time since I put a post up concerning what I believe what was the mishandling of my dog's illness. I removed that post. It was written in anger and sorrow. I don't regret it . But it was time to take it down and add some perspective. Ruby was sick and they vaccinated her anyway regardless that this has never been the protocol in the past. She died less than 24 hours later. I have been angry. Now I'm just sad. I have been taking my pups here for over 12 years and have always had every confidence in their care. I loved the office staff. They were funny and sweet. I have mostly seen Andy and Jake Tripp after Dr. Montgomery retired. Both have been ever caring and especially Jake when my 3 year old Frenchie passed from liver failure. I am at a loss for what to do. I have visited 2 other vets for simple puppy shots and spay and absolutely don't feel comfortable with the customer service and feel they put the $$$ above the care. I am sure I will be working my way back to Bartow animal hospital. Healthcare is a partnership. I should have spoken up when they told me they would go ahead and vaccinate my Ruby and I didn't. Her loss was senseless. She was only 2 years old. I am not against vaccinations but it shouldn't be done until the animal or person is healthy. I'll never know what really happened to Ruby...it's going to bother me always...all that said, the grass isn't always greener and I will be calling to make an appointment for my new rescue pup soon I'm sure. I pray for all the sweet caring individuals everywhere who love and care for our fur babies like we do. Thank God for doctors and techs caring for God's creatures big and small.

Miracle work by Jake! I was reading over the reviews, I am supportive to those of you who lost pets. My experience is a validation of excellent care. My golden doodle as a pup over a year old was running in yard and broke his leg by a gopher hole. Dr.Jake took x-rays and wanted to send us to a specialist. I could not afford using one and asked Dr. Jake if he could do the surgery. He told me he may not ever walk right again. I believed Dr. JAKE could do this. I was given strict instructions that the kernel was the cast when we got him home. Murphy runs and plays like nothing ever happened. This was 2018. I have 3 other rescues and they all see BAH when they need them. We love all the girls and are glad of whose back at Cartersville with the staff!!
