It's a great place to relax and let the kids play. Make sure to explore the trails & caves. Bring a water bottle to get some of the fresh spring water.
Playground: Simply & nice. Needs to be updated, but still in functional order.
Restrooms: Clean & spacious
Dog-friendliness: I don't have a dog, but I saw multiple there. All were friendly and well kept by their owner.
Picnic area: Clean & well kept. They even have coverage from the sun & rain

What a cool little place! Decided to come here for an adventure not far from home. My sons enjoyed the mini adventure very much so. Cave was very cool (literally and figuratively). Perfect for this GA heat. The water that trickles down (that you can drink; and it tastes sooooo refreshing!!) goes to a pond w/ fish (that you can buy feed for), into a little "splash pool" type area, that was relaxing too. The water is ice cold!! (I promise it's miracle water...we weren't even ashy after getting out. Lol!! ?) Then the water flows to a larger swimming pool area. We didn't swim,, but everyone that was there looked like they were enjoying it. Be sure to have cash!! $2 for cave, $5 for pool, $1 for fish food.

Edit: as of 2024, pool now open Thursdays.
Nice park with big shade trees and historical buildings. The pool is concrete bottom with rock sides. It builds up a little slimy coating on the bottom, since it is all natural water. Nicely manicured lawn with some shady spots to relax. $5 entry for kids and adults. Seniors and babies are free. They have a snack bar with pizza, hot dogs, ice creams, shaved ice, candy, and sodas. You can bring your own food and drink (a cooler will also cost $5 entry) you can use your own float, can bring a popup tent and chairs, just no glass and no alcohol. Pool is bracingly cold, which is refreshing on a hot day. Deeper in the far end, more shallow near the gate. Crowd is all kinds, colors, and body styles. A positive place where no one cares how you look. All employees are nice. Changing room/bathroom and an air pump for your floats. If you are used to bougie country club pools, you need to check your privilege at the door. This place is full of real people, having fun in the cool natural waters. Needs some additional pest control on the lawn for the ants and grass flies. Next time, I will bring a plastic tarp to put down under our blanket.
Dog-friendliness: Dogs are not allowed in the pool, but may walk in the park outside of the pool gates.

Restrooms: Public restrooms near the bank. Park restrooms closer to the church and cave.
