Came here after my battery died on a roadtrip. The ladies at the desk were very helpful and friendly and got my battery replaced in no time. Outstanding service!

The person working there had no air conditioning!!! He had a little fan blowing hot air. He was very nice despite this uncomfortable situation. Poor working conditions in this heat is unacceptable. Couldn't wait to leave. Will not return.

This is a formal complaint about the disrespectful behavior of two employees at the advanced auto parts store on July 16, 2024, at 8:30 PM. One of the employees, described as a black man, was rude and unprofessional. He was disrespectful when I was trying to provide my license plate number and made unwelcoming remarks about not getting paid past 9 PM. Additionally, he was unhelpful and talked disrespectfully after my aunt inquired about a manager discount. He was also uncooperative when we asked for his name. He stated he goes by Batman (2x). We asked to make sure he was joking.
The behavior of the other employee, who was described as Hispanic, was contrastingly respectful and helpful. However, when we asked him for a card and number to file a complaint, the rude employee intervened and was dismissive. And then, the Hispanic man sided with him, saying we do not have business cards here.
Due to this experience, we decided not to purchase the battery and do not plan to return to this location for future purchases. We believe that the store should prioritize hiring employees who demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism, and we are escalating this issue to the corporate level.

I went to the Advance Auto Parts located 5475 Peachtree Industrial Blvd which is store# 6870 and encountered the most incompetent, rude and lazy 2 employees I have ever seen. I visited the store on Saturday June 22nd around 3:30 pm to get a battery for my 2017 Mercedes C-300. I did my research and due diligence prior to going to the location so I knew what type of battery to get and that they would be able to put the battery into my car. Upon dealing with a rude lady that had red hair and it seem to be in a natural state and she wore glasses and was an older black female in late 50’s or early 60. She was not knowledgeable at all. I asked her the difference between a Die hard battery and an Optima Battery and she couldn’t explain one thing. I then began to educate her on what I found on the internet and then requested to purchase the battery and have it installed. She then lied and told me that they couldn’t install the battery for my car. I told her that I had been to 3 other Advanced Autos before coming to her location at they all looked at my car and said they could put in the battery and it wouldn’t take more than 15 minutes. The problem was that the other locations didn’t have the battery that I needed. She then approached the so called manager and explained to him what I just told her. He asked to see my car and told me it would take 2 hours. When I explained that the other locations said it would be 15 minutes, he then abruptly changed his story and said he couldn’t do it because he didn’t know how to reset my system. I then explained to him that I called Mercedes before going to get a battery and my system doesn’t need to be reset and he still kept making up excuses not to put in the new battery. This location definitely needs to looked at closely and reminded that the customer is the reason why they are in business. I left there and went to the location off Chamblee Tucker road which is store 05666 and dealt with a wonderful young man by the name of Miles.

Absolutely the best customer service in a world of angry and hurried people. They took the time to show me how to address certain items they’re not allowed to handle so that mom’s car could be less of the reason for road rage. “K/W” was super helpful as was the store “mom”. Thank you both!!

Josh was very helpful when I was stumped working on my friend's civic. He helped us fix the car's rough idle/vibration. A larger problem popped up soon after, which he also helped with by confirming my personal diagnosis. Definitely a true car guy.
