A little pricey, but these guys definitely take care of you. They let you know ahead of time what possible issues may arise and don’t pressure you into getting the service done. They just educate you of the what ifs. Tyler assisted me and reassured me that he’d get me in and out, which he did!

I came in for an oil change & Tay realized that my daughter’s tires were threadbare on the 2 front tires. The back 2 tires were also bad so we got 4 new tires My daughter needed the new tires to get back to Charlotte NC from Atlanta GA today. Tay was very calm & respectful in dealing with me & alerted the person in charge of the shop to discuss with me. I always have a good experience when I go to Express Oil. Than U Tay !

I took my recently bought 1989 GMC Jimmy SLS 4WD Sierra Classic to this location for an oil change on July 12th. Less than 24 days later, my engine suffered complete failure. I had no oil leaks, no oil pump issues, and no warning signs — but when inspected by an independent ASE-certified shop, there was no oil in the engine.
Two separate mechanics confirmed that the damage was the direct result of insufficient oil after the service. Even if some oil was added, it clearly wasn’t enough to protect the engine over such a short period.
When I reported this to the shop, the response was slow and unhelpful. They claimed that “showing me the dipstick” on the day of service absolved them of responsibility — something most customers are not trained to evaluate accurately. I wasn’t informed about the existence of camera footage until two days later, despite contacting them the same day I learned about the problem.
Their own warranty states: “In event of a problem after service of any kind, Express Oil Change must be notified and allowed to check the vehicle before any repairs are made. Any other action shall void any warranties whether written or implied… Warranties on parts and labor: Oil change - 3 mos/3k mi… All Other Mech Svcs - 12 mos/12k mi.”
I notified them after the incident, but they did not resolve the issue nor take responsibility. This experience has been costly, stressful, and unprofessional. I’ve been speaking with corporate and was told a higher-up would contact me. Based on my experience, I would never recommend this company to anyone who values their time, money, or vehicle safety. I am looking to escalate this issue to Claims Court and will be reporting this to the Attorney General, and the BBB it this isn’t resolved.

I’ve been using this Express Oil location for years now. My Jeep is aging and has needed a little extra attention and expertise. Marlon has done excellent work on my Jeep and keeps me on the road no matter what issue pops up. Derrick is always phenomenal with his great communication and friendliness. He is quick to get the diagnostic going and get me a quote when necessary. Both of these guys respect my time and I never feel like I’m being up-sold or coerced in anyway. I have great confidence in Derrick and Marlon and I’m thankful for the great service and respect they show my Jeep and me and my wife.
