I don't like that uou can't call talk to them any more. All automated service. Leave a message and they might call you back in an hour. They don't keep prescriptions in stock. If they have a prescriptions then they will order it. Stupid way of doing business

Quick Summary: Please do yourself and your family a favor and go to any other Pharmacy near Chatsworth, GA - EXCEPT this one.
Evening of Friday Feb. 21st, 2025
I arrived around 6:30PM to get my 2 year old sons needed medication before our family had to go on a required work trip early morning the next day. They said it would be ready 30 min to 1 hour. Side note: they close at 8pm per CVS.com (but Google says 9pm)?
I arrived back in the drive thru at 7:45pm. A lady in the car in front of me was chit chattin away with the pharmacist. I didn’t want to bother or act impatient. But at 7:55pm, she finally calls back to me saying her car battery is dead. Ironically, at 7:57pm, when I get out of the car to try to ask the pharmacist if I should come inside the store instead, I am purposely ignored as his view shifts out of my site.
At 8PM, he finally comes back into view and acknowledges me only to say “sorry, we closed at 8pm”.
I tried explaining my son needed the medication that was already filled, as we would not be in town to pick it up the next morning. His next excuse was that they “already came and got the registers”.
His tone was condescending and completely uncaring. I’ve had issues with this pharmacy before, but most have been minor..but they add up. This was the final straw for me.
Look, I’ve worked retail. Near closing time sucks. But you’re still “on the clock”. I would never treat a customer the way this guy did. Onto more speculation, don’t think I don’t know these “retail tactics”. The lady whose car battery was dead didn’t act too concerned about it. They both seemed annoyed I had not driven away 5 min before close after revealing her battery was dead and couldn’t move the car. Do I think that was a “plant” to close the drive thru earlier? Highly likely. She was unbothered, both annoyed I didn’t leave, pharmacist purposely moved out of view upon me exiting the vehicle to try and get his attention on an alternative, then magically comes back into view right at 8pm only to say they were closed. Yea, okay buddy.
But back to non-speculation and “reading the room”, just save yourself the trouble. This place is way too hit or miss with customer service, or just basic operation.
My son won’t have his antibiotics for the weekend and we’ll have to monitor him closely. Google says they close at 9. They actually close at 8 (6 on some days). But you better get there an hour or more before closing if you want to avoid their shenanigans.
Do not recommend. Oh, side note: they will also argue with you claiming generics are chemically the same as name brand, completely ignoring the fact about generic production rules, and different rates of release across different manufacturers of extended release medication. Apparently they know better than you than your own analysis of your body’s behavior to different medication brands. Fun fact: I think it’s the same guy/pharmacist.
Just stay away. If you MUST drop off a prescription here, assuming you haven’t already had it sent here…if it’s a younger male pharmacist, drive off and go to a different one. Your sanity will thank you.

Having good customer service can make ones day better. After all, we may not know what one might be going through. A kind word is not a lot to ask.

I’ve been patient for years. Today, I learned that you can’t speak to anybody at the pharmacy anymore. You have to leave a voicemail. No matter what the issue is. THIS IS INSANE. I work for a living. I can’t just show up and chat about how I need my medicine or serious illness will befall me. The issue I’m having is likely from a mistake they’ve made, by the way! And I can’t even CALL THEM. I’d give 0 stars if I could. CVS, get it together. I’m so unhappy with this new system.

I have been to cvs three times today. First when I arrived they were closed for lunch and said to come back in thirty mins. I came back was told my prescription was not ready . Told me to come back in one hr. Then bills the wrong insurance for my medication and tells me to drive back around and wait at least 15 more minutes. My husband is excruciating pain with a back injury and is suffering every minute they makes us wait. They staff was not fully trained and is not familiar with the medications they are handing out. Very unhappy with this service today.

The workers here must be absolutely miserable. They are always short and rude no matter what time or who you come in contact with. Don't ask questions about your medicine either, because they definitely don't want to go over it with you.
