Our son has been a student at United Karate Studios in Chickamauga for about a year. He has learned much and his discipline during the classes has helped outside the classes. Derrick is a great teacher, especially for the little kids.

About Chickamauga United Karate Studio
United Karate Studios - Chickamauga is led by Derrick and Carly Pendergrass.
Derrick has 40 years experience in martial arts and has had a very successful career as a competitor in the sport karate circuit and has represented the United States as a member of IAKSA Team USA winning bronze at the World Games in Madrid, Spain in 1999. He has also competed as a member of WMAGC US Martial Arts Team. Derrick is a 4th degree black belt.
Carly has over 20 years experience in the martial arts and has represented the United States as a member of IAKSA Team USA twice as well. Carly is a 4th degree black belt.
Derrick and Carly teach with a passion for tradition teaching honor, integrity and respect as key elements of the school.
