My husband and I stayed at this delightful Inn for an early birthday celebration. So, we made dinner reservations as well. While enjoying one of the most delicious dinners, my husband wondered how this quaint Inn was able to hire a five-star Chef? The food was that good! We sent praising words back to the Chef and he came out to thank us personally. Surprisingly, he was a young man who worked hard and with much passion for his love of cooking! The dining room was brimming over with locals as well as with the guests staying at the Inn. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful! The Inn itself is overflowing with special, artistic touches that we appreciated very much. The garden and grounds were lovely. It was easy to feel all the attention to detail and the love that put it there. We LOVED the food and will return again and again! Kudos to the Chef and to the Inn! Thank you for the splendorous experience. You helped us to create some very fond memories...

My wife and I recently stayed at Glen-Ella Springs for a wedding anniversary and really enjoyed our stay. It is a cozy, historic inn tucked away in the mountains of north Georgia near Tallulah Gorge, Lake Rabun, and Clarksville. The rooms are comfy and quaint and are perfect if you're looking for a nice place to go to unplug from our tech-filled lives. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed our breakfast. We hope to get back to Glen-Ella in the future!Nearby activities: Tallulah Gorge State Park is nearby, which is a top tourist attraction in Georgia. There are several waterfalls to see like Minnehaha Falls, Angel Falls, and Panther Creek Falls. Panther Creek is a 7 mile round trip hike, so be prepared for about a 5 hour trip. Clarksville is a nice nearby town with dining options.

Our third stay! Traveling all the way from central Florida. The experience is worth the drive. Owners, Ed and Luci give you exceptional hospitality with genuine warmth and friendliness! The staff and on-site chefs provide the upscale ambience you will truly enjoy. Highly recommend even just for dinner!

Incredible dishes by the chef! I was blown away at how flavorful each dish was. It's a MUST try! You can stay at the Bed and Breakfast or just come for dinner. We drove over for a late dinner and it was everything we hoped for! We will be back!!

Food was excellent, we had the beef and the lamb. Our server was sweet and attentive. The restaurant was beautiful and quiet and we had a table next to the fireplace. Highly recommend for a special occasion or nice dinner out. Glen Ella never fails to give us an amazing experience.

The rustic and historic buildings, and mountain setting are complemented by the very well appointed rooms and excellent restaurant. The Inn is a romantic step back in time, wonderfully decorated, with all the comforts of today. All the staff, everyone on site, provides outstanding and friendly service. This retreat is about intimacy with nature, relaxing, eating well, and getting away; yet the Inn is close enough to the lake and Clayton to enjoy all the area offers. This Inn beats the city-fied accommodations every day!Noteworthy details: I visited in February and the winter weather was sunny. The mountains with the on-site stream were beautiful. The Inn's garden and property must be striking Spring through Autumn!

This was our second visit to this unique restaurant located in a historic building in the Appalachian mountains. The menu is limited, but every item is a standout! Starting with the variety of warm, fresh baked breads, the fresh, crisp salads and the wonderful scallops, the delicious soups to the amazingly tender and flavorful tenderloin to the very fresh halibut...all perfectly plated and prepared. The side dishes were all a cut above what is usually served elsewhere. We thoroughly enjoyed every morsel. The ambiance of dining in a 150 year old building with fireplaces, a garden view, and gracious servers elevated our experience even more. This is a romantic, quiet restaurant that makes for a memorable experience.

We visited again for Valentines Day and spent the night at the B&B and had dinner. Please visit if you can, because it is worthwhile. Probably should load the address in the car gps to make it easier to find.
