This company is a sham! My fiancé had a great job in Chicago but was tired of the cold so his friend recommended Ansco. He did all the research on Ansco and even spoke to plenty of managers who guaranteed that there would PLENTY of work before he moved here. My fiancé was hired and began work for them around January 3rd. His grandmother died in February in Haiti. Ansco OFFERED to pay for his plane ticket. After a few days he didn’t hear anything about it so he purchased his own plane ticket. The company then stated he would be reimbursed for it. Once again, he never heard anything about the plane ticket or the reimbursement. My fiancé went to Haiti, buried his grandmother and came back on the 15th. That Monday (February 17th) they laid him and hundreds of other tower techs off. Their reasoning was due to revenue cuts. Anything dealing with revenue at any company is projected MONTHS in advance. Meaning, they NEVER had the work they promised him, they NEVER intended on paying for his plane ticket(after they OFFERED) and they damn sure didn’t plan on reimbursing him. Needless to say, this company is full of it. My fiancé is dedicated and loyal to anyone he works with! He could’ve stayed in Chicago ! Thank God for better opportunities and better paying jobs. Ansco, you really missed out.
