The pedicures don’t come with a foot massage…?!I’m very disappointed by the service we got here. I take my 5 year old to get a pedicure every few months, not very often, and it’s a special treat for her, something she looks forward to. I made an appointment a little ahead of time and surprisingly, they got us in our chairs on time, so I was actually thinking it was going to be a great experience to begin with. A lady comes over, doesn’t greet us, seems annoyed, turns my jets and water on and totally ignores my daughter who is wondering why she doesn’t get water…sadly I’m used to this as it seems like most salons always skimp on kids pedicures (even though I was paying a premium price for a gel pedicure for both of us.) I asked politely if they could also turn her water on and she brushed me off and headed to the back. A few minutes later she came back and cut the water on scalding hot so I had to ask for an adjustment which she seemed irritated, as she was now attending to some towels. I was asked several times what service I wanted, I had read their menu and told them both times, we would just get the base line pedicure with gel polish for the both of us. The menu stated that the pedicures all came with foot massages, and obviously there are varying degrees/lengths as with most places—when you pay more, you get more, but I was unprepared for what happened with this. Fast forward to the end of the pedicure, it was all over in about 20 minutes and my lady goes and gets a towel and loudly declares, “number ONE pedicure get only ONE towel”…I’m unsure why this info is relevant so I just smile and nod. She then starts to put my shoes on and I asked, “Was there no foot massage? Normally my skin will be dry after soaking in water and the lotion helps.” She replies, “number one pedicure come with only a little bit massage, shoes slide off if I put lotion on feet” which I received no foot massage at all and I’ve never EVER had a pedicure where they didn’t put lotion on my feet! She quickly got very argumentative and several other customers looked up, baffled at what she was saying, shaking their heads in disbelief. I just told her it was fine and we paid and left quickly. Very rude and disappointing, but sadly, that’s how it is a lot of places nowadays. ??♀️

This has been the third time I’ve come to MV nails. The first two times were fine. The polish on my nails if my manicure had some occasional rough spots or air bubbles, but nothing too major. Plus for the price, I could deal with an occasional air bubble. However, I think today might be the last time I visit this salon.First, the technician I had brought two bowls from the cabinet between the pedicure chairs to the workstation for a presoak to remove old polish from my fingernails. Immediately I saw that one of the bowls was filthy and had dust and shavings from a previous session. I refused to use the bowl and told the technician I would use the plastic bag only. Next, the technician was not wearing gloves throughout the entire process. She also cut my skin with the cuticle scissors and kept rubbing the nail file board against the skin on the sides of my nails.Another family member of mine, who is also a diabetic, had the cuticles on 3 of their fingers cut and bleeding. Again, in this instance, the technician was not wearing gloves.Overall, I’m disappointed in the service I received today and am extremely concerned about the safety/sanitation of this establishment. I like having my fingers and toes done, but not at the risk of my health. I will be looking elsewhere.

The girl who did my nails was so rude. I showed a reference photo and she refused to pick out a simple color. She ripped off my old set with cuticle clippers and they still hurt 3 hours later. The shape is wrong and this was the worst salon experience i’ve had . wouldn’t recommend. Her name is ally i’m pretty sure

My nails turned out very good. However when the girl got to the massage portion I was shocked when she used the bottle’s pump applicator that goes into the bottle to apply the lotion on my arms and hands. That’s very much cross contamination and she did it like it was no big deal and like she had done it before. I feel like the salon needs to be looked into at how they disinfect and how they handle cross contamination.

Great work on the nails minus one being a little crooked . The service was great but forgot steps in my pedi I paid for like the hot towels and stuff . Kinda unorganized. It was clean . Good work on the eyebrows tinting them 2 weeks in and still tinted I’d never had it done didn’t even know it was a thing . Just don’t push for someone to spend more someBarely have it for what they came in for and just wanted to treat themselves. Include what the package says and keep in mine some ppl have issues with their muscles and bones and can’t twist and bend like you think they need to while doing whatever they came in for you don’t have to be rude and start talking about them as if they don’t know it . So I’d said better customer service or patience. So I’m giving 4 stars because of the small infractions I had but the work was great for the most part 9.9 outta 10.Services: Acrylic nails

Used MV for the first time today and was AMAZED at my experience. Allie (I hope I spelled that right) was so great! Everyone was super welcoming and friendly when I came in, got me right in on a walk-in, they knew every customer who walked in behind me, did exactly what I asked for, and even took care of some mistakes from my previous nail salon. This is the first time I’ve left without my nails hurting, and they’re the perfect size and shape. Hands down the best nail experience I’ve had. This is my new spot.Services: Acrylic nails

Amy did my nails this time. She did a great job as always. Does them exactly how I ask. I generally either have her or Annie do my nails but everyone who works in there does a fantastic job.Services: Nail designs

I typically have the SNS French manicure, spa pedicure and eyebrow wax. I have never been disappointed with any service. I usually make Appointments, but the professionals here will take a walk-in with little wait time. I’m always greeted with a smile!Services: Nail designs

They are JUST OK. MV nail stations are dirty, equipment and tools are dirty. They always overbook appointments especially on weekends. I have waited 20 minutes to 3/4 hour so many times. Mostly happy with my nails but not always and if you say anything they get very defensive and angry. Need a new place.Services: Acrylic nails

Basic nail shop they seem to offer SNS(Powder) as their default service.I asked for design and was told no.SNS turned out good, competitive pricing to that of the city of Atlanta.Pedicure was slightly different from what I'm use to.... they clean and polish your toes first then perform pedicure service. All in all Kim and Ally was amazing and I would go back again.
