“I had an amazing time at this zoo! My favorite parts were meeting the capybaras and feeding the bison. The bison were absolutely stunning up close, and the capybaras were just as silly and relaxed as I had hoped—they totally live up to the hype! The zoo also offers great affordable options, like discounted tickets on Family Days every Tuesday, which makes it even more accessible. Special shoutout to Coffee for being a fantastic capybara guide and wildlife tour guide—so knowledgeable and fun! I’ll definitely be back for another capybara experience. Highly recommend!”

Searching for a quiet, serene mountain top retreat for a weekend getaway. Found Lucille’s Mountain Top Inn. And what a find it was and is - - located on a high ridge with unobstructed views of the Smoky Mountains. Manicured multi-level lawns with Adirondack chairs for relaxing and taking in the views. Need a fire for cool night, yep fire pits available.

Upon entering the front door, you gaze straight through the open foyer to a gorgeous mountain view. And 3 outdoor decks/areas plus a crow’s nest for even better views.

Room #7 – huge room with windows on all sides, large double head walk-in shower and a super comfy king bed. Plenty of USB outlets for your tech gear. Ceiling fan and in-room control HVAC. They also provide a chest full of DVD’s and each room has its own DVD player, nice touch.

Now for the good part – the personnel at the Inn – shout out to Lorie, Carolyn and Ashley. If you ever need to learn how to greet and meet clients, then hire one of these ladies, they excel in client relations.

Even better, the food – two course breakfast that deserves 4-star review. Juice and coffee as fresh as can be – and the dining area, yep, windows all around overlooking the valley and the mountain range. Let me not forget the afternoon deserts compliments of the chef – crème brulee with fresh baked cake – on our night there.

Did I mention they have a spa – although we did not have time, the services looked great – we will give it try next time.

We have enjoyed many fine Inn’s in our travels and as you can see, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lucille’s Mountain Top Inn. I believe that if you want beautiful scenery, serene atmosphere, 4-star accommodations, good food and very attentive personnel, then you too will love Lucille’s.”
