When they moved the carries to Athens, some of my Amazon packages get lost in the shuffle. I don't think I should have to drive into Athens to get my packages. Bring the carriers back to Colbert! That was a poor customer service decision to move them in the first place. I don't blame Colbert for this mess.

This is the worst postal services I have had since living in colbert ,how you going to leave a package at the driveway by the road, hell anyone could've got it but I seem they just drove by and thrown it out cause it was so close to the road ,like I pulled by my driveway and open the door and got the package without even get out of my car,

They do not deliver ANY packages. They mark it as delivered and leave the package at the post office. They make you come get every single package you order. I suggest going out of your way to not support this post office as they do not support us.

That lady Tana has got to be the worse customer facing human being I have met. Absolutely repugnant attitude. Made up some nonsense about not accepting a passport as identification because of scammers. She had a real vendetta with whomever must have scammed her before and she took it out on everyone else. She demanded a drivers license then when I mentioned my passport is a valid form of ID and accepted by the USPS as such listed on the P.O. Box form, she threw my paperwork at me and told me to come back when Victoria was here. She didn’t know when that was but yelled “after lunch.” Went back 2 hours later, “she’s not here yet she said at 12 but it’s 1230 so I don’t know” so I waited in the lobby.Victoria comes back and handles everything perfectly and without fail hands me the keys. I feel so bad for Victoria having to work with that lady. You could see it on her face, she’s dealt with it more than once. No wonder she leaves whenever she can.Tana shouldn’t have a job at all. Whoever is postmaster there should fix that problem that clearly everyone experiences.

I would give no starts if possible… The mail carriers are a joke.. Got a certified letter in the mail today. No one was home.. Got cameras you see the truck pull up to mailbox and leave never pulled in yard or came to door.. Letter was signed for and left in mailbox… Got notification on phone that it was givin to individual.. Guess it’s ok that they just sign what ever they want and leave it in mailbox.. Beware… This has been reported.. Guess we will see if there is any repercussions for it… seem very confident doing it so I’m sure this isn’t the first thing it has happen…

If I could give no stars I would. The lady Tana is very unprofessional, rude and just downright strange. She didn’t even give me a confirmation receipt. She told me to tape up my package and leave it on the counter as she walked away.

I shipped some handmade toys to a friend through this location. Soon as I walked in someone came from around back to help me, weigh my package, rang up the shipping total and the package was received within 3 days.

None of my Amazon deliveries are ever delivered. UPS always delivers on time. You always send the products back indicating undeliverable. Y'all need to get your act together. This is the 8th time. Amazon will not let me assign UPS or I would. Very upset. I'll make a correction to use the old postal service before the USPS took over fraudulently. You should know what I speak of. It's why you assisted in the theft of the 2020 election. Fraudsters trying to maintain control of the fraud USA, Inc.

How in the world can you deliver mail to the same address for 30 years but can’t seem to deliver packages to the same xxxxxxx address?!

Lived here my entire life and as long as Tana Hemphill has worked there, it is a horrible experience to walk into that building. She is absolutely useless, and overly rude. Never has she been nice or helpful. Again, today she let me stand there (without anyone else around) for a several minutes before she even acknowledged me. Then when asking about a package delivery, same old response “I don’t know.” She moves at the speed of a sloth and walks around saying “I don’t know.” Can we please get someone in this location that can actually assist customers? Cares about what they are here for? Like the mail, the package deliveries, etc. Rather than someone like her who just hates people and her job, because it shows very obviously every time I have to open the door to the Colbert Post Office.

Revised 8/2/2021:I give credit where it is due. This evening I received some very important mail hand delivered on the carrier's personal time from her personal vehicle. She had promised earlier that it would be delivered today, and she kept her word. Perhaps there is still hope for humanity.Original:Laziness? Ignorance? "Do Not Bend" used to mean something. This is the second time I'm having to reorder this because it arrived in my mailbox bent in half instead of at my door as specifically requested. This sort of inconsideration, or even just careless, mindless automation is one of the major problems in this world today. Shame.

Can't understand the complaints. We're very happy with the Colbert Post Office and its associates.

Colbert, GA post office is THE WORST IN THE WORLD!!! Lazy, rude, slow, non chalant & they don't even care! It's almost like they strive to be the very worst & are proud of themselves for it. Just an all around sorry group of people employed there. They need a new post master, for starters, OBVIOUSLY it's her fault they think it's ok to be so slack on the job. SO TIRED of having to go to this location to get my packages because they're too lazy to deliver.
