This is our 6th move with full service movers (packing, loading, shipping, unloading) and is by far the worst move we've ever had.Unfortunately with moving you don't really know how well or badly it went until you get your delivery, so the below insights are with the advantage of being able to see how everything ended up.I will start at the beginning. The packers:The packers did a terrible job and seemingly have no regard for the property they're packing. They managed to break both fragile items as well as more durable items (a plastic OXO ladle was broken in half because of a lack of padding and heavy items that were packed on top).-They put assorted fragile and heavy items into the same box without any padding.-They put pictures into piles and the put a layer of paper around the whole pile instead of wrapping pictures individually. We had 7 damaged picture frames from just one box.-They used some plastic totes we owned to pack items (they asked permission to use them), but then labeled all the totes with sharpie. If we had known they were going to write on the totes we would not have allowed them to use them for packing.-Their use of wrapping material shows a clear lack of thought or understanding of what items are fragile and what is not. We had plastic cups that were wrapped in ~7 layers of paper next to wine glasses that were wrapped in ~2 layers. The loaders:While the loaders did not "damage" our house, they marked the walls up excessively while moving boxes. The marks were removable, but we had to remove them. They wrapped most items in moving blankets, but for some reason chose not to wrap others and just load them onto the truck."The warehouse"Based on paperwork and talking with the moving teams this is the route it appears our goods took: Our house->Moving truck->Warehouse->Tractor Trailer->Warehouse->Moving truck->New house. Based on the condition of our goods it seems that at every transfer point 5-10% of our items were dropped or mishandled. Every moving team alluded (or outright stated) that items would be/were damaged at the warehouse. How much they are to blame for our damage is unknowable, but it doesn't inspire confidence when your packers or loaders are already telling you were your items are going to be damaged. The Delivery TeamOverall the delivery team did a decent job. They didn't cause any damage or wall marks, they worked efficiently, and were on time. Unfortunately by that point all the damage had already been done. We did have an issue with the paperwork as the delivery team said their paperwork indicated they did not need to unpack/assemble the TV (the legs were removed by the packers when they packed the TV), but they ultimately did assemble the TV (one of the 4 screws was lost during the move though).Move CoordinatorOver all our move coordinator was good. She called to ensure each team arrived on time and later to ensure things were progressing. She let us know when things were going to be happening. Our one issue was that our delivery was on Saturday and our move coordinator doesn't work on the weekend, so she let us know we would be assigned another coordinator for the delivery day. This coordinator called the morning of the delivery to ask if the crew had arrived (they were en-route but had not yet arrived). I let her know the status. She then said "Ok. If you have any questions or concerns you can contact [our original move coordinator] on Monday". That was it. Never got contact information from her, never heard from her again. It's unclear what we were supposed to do if there was an issue with delivery on the actual delivery date.We now have the pleasure of trying to get compensation for all our damaged items, which in addition to the smaller fragile items mentioned above includes a broken bed frame (one rail is in pieces), broken air compressor (was clearly dropped and part of the compressor broke off), and damaged dressers as well as others.I would avoid this com

Everyone I dealt with was great. I didn't have anything damaged and all of my things arrived in a timely manner. Good communication with the staff and driver.

Movers arrived to my new home 1 day prior to the contract date of arrival. The previous owners of the home still were in the house until 5pm that day so movers could not start the job until this time. The job was not completed as the movers complained that they were tired after a few hours and my belongings were left in the living room for me to move alone around in the house and furniture to build (cabinets, beds, entertainment centers etc.) I had no boxes in my shipment, furniture only and the job was not completed in 5 hours.

Requested an online quote. Was contacted by a representative to set up an in home estimate for 2 days later at 10 am. Gave them all my moving info and 2 phone numbers. Was told they would call 30 mins prior to showing up. Not only did they not call either number, but no one showed up for the estimate all day. Very disappointing and frustrating. Will not use this company for moving. Can't count on them to show up to move me!

I had an estimate done on May 5th for my move to Texas. On May 10th I Called to confirm my move for June 7th. I reached out to the call center line to inform them I'll be using their company. I was told by an agent that everything was set. Well the last week of May come and I call back to inquire about a few more items for them to tell me my move was never confirmed. I was told a supervisor would be calling me as well as Brad with a solution, no one ever called me back. Now here I am on June 1st with no solution, no moving company and I've already sold my house. This company has really put me in a bad spot because THEY dropped the ball

Allied Vans made our trip hassle free! There were always professional and helpful staff, from the movers on the ground to the coordinators! The communication was amazing and we got several calls and updates along the way. We had a couple super minor problems, but they were all fixed quickly and professionally. I cannot recommend Allied Vans enough! They were super amazing to work with! If we ever have to move again I am definitely going to pick them as my first choice!

From the very beginning, getting a quote which was easy and fast from my computer, to the fellow-up with a very friendly service coordinator to the move and staff which was efficient and on-time. This was a very nice and good move. Thank you Allied Coleman ?
