( Dillards Beauty Salon ) I received an oppurtunity to be a client of Shalane. She was very unprofessional and disrespectful. I have been shopping at Dillard's , yet along use to work there & the experience was terrible. If you are going to hire someone, do throughly background research on someone's craft.

Today I received a facial from the new esthetician Shalane. It was one of the best facials I received hands down. She is very professional and knowledgeable. I like her up to date machines and the products were great. She made a personalized skin care routine for me as well. Can't wait to book again.

I came here to get my black virgin hair bleached and toned to a lighter color. Me and the stylist (Juliet, manager) decided on a level 7or 8 ash (I specified I didn’t want warm tones) for the first session. The first session resulted in the mid shaft to ends of my hair being orange brown while the top was a level 7 or 8. After she bleached my hair and my roots were pale yellow while the rest was still orange, I’m curious as to why she went ahead and toned it anyway. Second session, she spent 5 hours again doing a soap cap, and toning my hair 3 times. I ended up getting a refund and using that money to do it myself. I’m uploading pics of what she did to my virgin hair and what I was able to achieve on my own. Overall, I think she might be somewhat knowledgeable on hair but she was lazy and rushed the process for me. I think she should’ve determined if my hair could handle a double bleach the first session (Which most asian hair would need due to high pigmentation) and I think it might have been fine. I do not recommend going here for bleach and color.Service: Hair coloring

WARNING!! I cried! My hair was butchered. I was in shock I paid and left and cried. Six years of hair growth and I finally try layers to do something special from coming back from a deployment and it looked like a toddler cut my hair. I don't know how she did it or why she did it like that. I showed her a picture of long layers and I got three layers that ruined my long hair. Thank goodness Jcpenney salon was able to "camouflage" the damage until the hair could grow back! Lost almost a foot of hair from the original cut and then the cut to fix the first.

I have super curly hair, and was coming in to get a haircut and style...something new and cute but staying curly. Was told my hair had to be straightened to do so, which I am aware with curly hair depending on what you want, needs to be straightened. However, what turned into what I thought a haircut and style for under 50.00, turned into an additional 50...to have medium length hair straightened for my cut....2 hours later I walked out not impressed and let down. In over 40 plus years of getting my hair done...I've never paid over 100.00 for a 2 inch cut and hair still frizzy straightened...with my original request not really being fulfilled. I wanted a whole new curly styled look. However, the owner was super friendly, and Shernette, who was my stylist, was very nice and did ask me questions regarding my hair. She was unsure about alot, and had to ask the owner for advice about some things. This showed me she was trying for me, as well as, reassuring she was going about the steps correctly. The establishment was super clean and continued with protocols of covid. I just felt that the service was extremely overpriced and took longer for the little I received.6/8: Since my review, the owner Juliette reached out to me, I responded and upon speaking with me, she was attentive and understanding. In fact, she had me come in and fix my hair. Juliette did not just fix my hair, she gave me the haircut I wanted and I thoroughly enjoyed her personality and conversations. She is good about explaining what she is doing at the time, as well as, providing details regarding hair care. I appreciate what she did in reaching out and leaving me 100 percent satisfied. Thank you!

The last time I used Avada Tonya was there. She did my color within 4 hours! She was amazing. Last week I went in for color. My stylist was late. I was seated at shampoo chair that was dirty. Looked like dandruff was on it. I was left with my neck in the bowl for what supposed to be 17minutes, but was almost an hour! I could hear her out front laughing and talking to someone! My neck was swollen and sore for three days!!! Then, I was charged $30. for drying my hair!!! I was there 5 hours, and told I needed another appt to color my hair the way I wanted! Will NOT return.

Went in for a simple hair cut. First they spent ten minutes telling me my hair was dry and how to condition it (which I do exactly what she told me but they refused to listen). Took an entire hour and a half and they couldn’t even finish blow drying it all the way. Had to go home to finish drying it to realize every piece of my hair was cut at a different length. Do NOT recommend.

Annah was amazing ! I came in with my hair messed up from another salon . She fixed it and made it even better than I could imagine ! She was very nice and we had great conversation. I will definitely continue seeing her and I had an overall amazing experience. Thank you Annah for giving me a hair miracle ! ❤️

The salon was super clean during the pandemic. My daughter and I both went in for a color and Annah was great about working on both of at the same time. She would bleach one of us while the other was drying. We love Annah and would trust anyone else to color our hair.
