The D.A. Turner Branch YMCA is described as a nice, clean, and convenient place with friendly people and staff. It offers a great workout experience with lots of fitness equipment, including many cardio and weight machines, a basketball/volleyball court, and an outdoor walking track. The indoor pool is great for activities like water aerobics. There are great group fitness classes with awesome instructors. The facility has everything except a dry sauna and steam room. Parking, including for handicap, can fill up fast. The front desk staff is helpful, though some reviewers note they are not always happy greeters.
Love the YMCA. The Aqua fit and the aerobics is great.

Nice place, nice people. They have everything except a dry sauna and steam room. Have to go to the Y in downtown Columbus for those two things.

We're members of the Coastal Georgia Y, but were in Columbus visiting. The front desk staff was very helpful getting us signed in. The indoor pool is great. Lots of cardio weight machines plus a good sized basketball/volleyball court and an outdoor walking track.
