Today I went in to buy some birthday favors for my sons class.found everything I needed.we got to the register and the very sweet lady began to ring us up there was a man standing observing at the end of the register in dollar tree attire , whom I now know to be a manager. As she's ringing us up he begins to nit pick everything she's doing very condescendingly his tone was rude and he spoke to her like she was an idiot .when he walked away to go to the office I told her "I don't like the way he speaking to you" she said today was her first and last day she's knows her worth 🙌 to which i say yaasss queen hold your crown high. Based on other reviews here this is a common theme for this male manager .maybe he gets some kind of power trip degrading employees in front of customers... I will be reaching out to corporate.

Today 12/30/24… I experienced a very rude encounter and an unnecessary reprimand of an employee from the manager at the Dollar Tree located at 6361 Talokas Lane Columbus Ga 31909. I asked one of the associates for assistance and she so graciously tried to assist me. When she was unable to do so, she called the Manager over for help! This is when the issue went wrong! Before he even asked what was needed, The Manager proceeded to reprimand the associate in front of me a customer as to whether or not she had finished stocking her area. I told him that I had asked for assistance. At this point I was totally dismissed as if I had not spoken. He proceeded to ask the associate what was she suppose to do if some one asked for help, before she could even respond, he proceeded to tell her that she was suppose to get maanagement so that her productivity was not hindered, afterall they were there to be productive, at that the associate walked away. He then asked me what I needed I told him I was attempting to ensure the battery I was trying to replace was correct but I could read the lettering on it, he took out his glasses barely glanced at the battery and stated, “Well, I can’t either, with air of dismissal and walked away!!!
First, my compliant is regarding the treatment of the associate, in front of a customer and loud enough so anyone in the store could hear the interchange! Granted the associate may not have been following procedure, but the situation could have been handled differently and not in front of a customer or so others could hear him!
Second, as a customer, to be totally dismissed as though your questions or concerns are unimportant is totally unacceptable!
Third, I had I heard him reprimanding another associate as I entered the store.
I had purchases to make, but after witnessing and being privy to such rude behavior, I decided to leave my items and make my purchases elsewhere!!!
Now I may be only one customer, but I would venture to say that I am not the first customer he has treated this way and I am sure I will not be the last, nor will those two associates be the last ones he treats as though they are not worthy of respect!
Just a concerned customer who feels this kind of behavior needs to be addressed!!!

Manager rude and unprofessional. He seems incapable of giving an apology for having more than 4 rows of the same item labeled at the incorrect price $1.25, was intransigent and unwilling to accept their mistake let alone giving a price adjustment for the 4 items I overpaid since they were labeled wrong.. then he ordered his elderly employee to collect all wrong labeled items to fix the price, but refused to honor the price displayed. False & deceptive advertising, terrible customer service and probably racist thowards hispanic people. If I could give zero stars I would.

The store was busy but only one line which went down the isle. The line remained like that more than 10 minutes. I'm not sure why management didn't step in sooner ?

One associate led me to get some boxes to take. As I was leaving the cashier got real sassy gentleman saying they use each and every one of their boxes. They should let everyone working there know that.

The Dollar Tree always has a great selection of all kinds of things. The personnel are kind and helpful. 10/18/23 I found some good deals at Dollar and a Quarter today. They actually beat Walmart with their pricing. The items I purchased appear to be of good quality. Tomorrow they will have their Christmas stock on the shelves. Good job $1.25.

The manager is very nasty talking disrespectful, rude to his staff. He has made ugly comments to them. Making smart comments. Belittle his staff. He does it in front of the customers.

Rip off tree...Stopped in today to pick up a couple items...Walked out & noticed my bill was more then usual because 9 items were charged $4 & $5...Walked right back in...And they told me no refunds...Exchange only...WTH...I truly hope this decieving chain goes out of business...Use to be a great place to shop...But not anymore!!
