I love coming here to get some retail therapy. Plan on being here for quite a while and prepare to dig for those treasures! If you don't want to fight the crowds, come about 30 minutes or so AFTER opening. Bring an extra bagin case there are no carts, ALWAYS wear gloves, and possibly wear a mask (dust on objects). The staff here gets yelled at quite frequently due to recent price changes, so be nice to them and they will return the favor. Prices are now $1.89 lb. for ALL goods, heavy items, electronics and stuffed toys included. Everything is now weighed. The books are now 10 for a $1. Happy hunting!

Goodwill is 5 stars after our move to Columbus GA. Besides the greeting of customers as they enter the store and great quality and gently used merchandise, our move was certainly enhanced by Goodwill providing all we didn't bring with us. Friendly and helpful personnel are greatly appreciated. Thank you all

My husband and I travel a great deal every month. One of our favorites pastimes is to visit the local Goodwill Outlet stores; visiting over 20 of them multiple times! 99% of these stores are well kept, restocked every hour or so, busy, upbeat, clean, and price virtually everything (except books and glass) for about $1.89 a POUND. We generally spend about two hundred dollars in EACH STORE because we love to dig for treasures! The Columbus Georgia store is the antithesis of this in every way. It was deserted, dirty, stocked with many items that were broken, soiled, and unusable. No restocking was done! We tried very hard to find something redeemable. I found about 30 very cheap plastic hair barrettes and Bobby pins, and key rings. My husband found a book. Upon checking out- we expected our items to be weighed. The cashier informed us each key ring, barrette, and Bobby pin would be 59 cents each!!! I told her nope- I could definitely buy brand new for less. The book was 50 cents and we bought it. Every SINGLE ITEM THROWN TOGETHER HAPHAZARDLY IN NASTY BINS IS PRICED SEPARATELY no matter if is a cap pencil eraser or a used tube of lipstick, or a bowl. If it looks remotely decent, they take a grease marker and mark it up to $10. Completely shocked this store has a single good review or can keep their doors open.

Bins rotates every 30 minutes and end rotations around 4. Price is $1.89 per pound and had a couple of resellers. Stayed there for about 4 hours and got a decent haul.

Best Place. Best and most friendliest staff! I really hate that people will hog the newer bins though, I wish there was rules in place for people blocking space with thier buggies so more people can search through the new stuff instead of just the resellers and teenagers :) its seriously a problem I've had, newer bins get placed out and all the teenagers/resellers will run and block everyone else with Thier bodies/buggies and grab LITERALLY everything they can. This used to be a safe place for ppl struggling to get nice clothes but now it's the same ppl every day blocking and crowding bins.
