They are very unprofessional. First time they changed my date that it was schedule to move. When they finally arranged another day and that day they also came up with some kind of excuse and when they did show up, it was only one tiny short dude. We said are you sure you are going to be able to move all these furniture by your self. That was impossible because all of our furniture was big, heavy and solid. So he called some one for help. When they were moving, they damaged my hardwood floor, they scrapped my kitchen cabinet while moving. The guy said he was going to come back and fix it and he never came back. Every time we call them, there is no answer.

Mike handled scheduling and billing for my move like an absolute pro. Nick and Ray handled the actual move, and I couldn't be more happy with their professionalism and skill. They were quick and efficient loading and unloading, but they handled my things with care. 10/10 would recommend.

Helping Hands Moving SAVED THE DAY!!! They got all of our things to fit in the moving trailer saving us money on a 2nd trailer! The were careful with our contents and completely professional. HIGHLY recommend!!

I recently used Helping Hands Moving Service for my move, and I had a terrible experience. From the start, the packing was done poorly. Many of my items were improperly wrapped and as a result, several of my belongings were damaged.
Additionally, the movers showed little respect for my home. They caused significant damage to the walls and floors during the move. Instead of placing items in an organized manner in storage, they haphazardly threw things in, making it nearly impossible to find anything.
When I tried to address these issues with the owner, he completely lacked accountability. He was dismissive and showed no interest in making things right. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience, and I strongly advise others to avoid using this company. Save yourself the stress and choose a more reliable moving service.

This is the most unprofessional business in columbus ga. They are extremely money hungry and the owner of the company acts like a child. I inquired about a move of some of my items on 2/1/22, in which they state they have an available opening the next day 2/2/22. As I'm scheduling my appointment the representative fails to mention that my deposit is non refundable since they are not able to be notified five days prior..which doesn't make any sense if I'm told that they have availability the next day. If that is the case then maybe schedule your customers within a five day period just in case they have to cancel. This information is also not listed in the email confirmation they send but their refund policy is listed in your estimate which clearly states that if you choose to cancel or reschedule within 5 days then you WILL be refunded. It doesn't say anything about it needing to be canceled or rescheduled 5 days prior. I called on 2/1/22 as well as this morning before my appointment to attempt to cancel..the first time I called I was manipulated into keeping the appointment and the second time I called the owner automatically assumed I went with another company when that wasn't even the reason why I was needing to cancel. Then the owner proceeds to tell the representative who took my payment that I called her liar when I did not. I stated that I was not told(which I wasn't) that my deposit would be non refundable. The representative also lied and said that she did tell me when SHE MOST CERTAINLY DID NOT! I was told that the deposit would go towards the cost of the move..there was nothing stated about a deposit not being refundable..and it clearly states in the estimate that it is refundable. I will be disputing this fraudulent charge with my bank and I suggest no one give their money or business to this company. They are liars and they are extremely unprofessional. You would think a business would try to work with someone as moving is already stressful as it is. They could've given me options or had some type of compassion but they simply were angry that I had to cancel due to unfortunate circumstances and then proceeds to keep my money. I will do everything in my power to ensure that they will pay for this.
**To add to the owners comment..no one ever told me it was non refundable. As the estimate shows the deposit is refundable as long as you cancel within 5 days..I scheduled and tried to cancel the same day as well as the next day which was my move date..it is not my fault that you all decided to schedule me the next day after I initially called. You all are extremely unprofessional..I recommend anyone call two men and a truck..they are extremely nice and professional

I recently moved to Columbus for work and this company is heaven sent! Great prices and great service! Mike and his team definitely set the bar for service in this town! I’ll definitely be calling them for any moving needs I or friends need in the future!

They are friendly and cordially. While the company leader was extremely professional, some of the staff that actually pick up and deliver your property may need additional training. With any move you can expect things to break and get damaged. But, failure to properly wrap glass items and or using a hand style dolly and dropping it down new hardwood stairs - instead of picking it up is unacceptable. This speaks to inexperience staff. This was a local move and the experience took way longer than anticipated and or quoted.

I utilized Helping Hands Moving Service this weekend and the service I received was definitely 5 star plus. These guys were Friendly, Knowledgeable, Efficient and an added Bonus lots of fun to work with. I have used other services in the past and this by far was the best experience...hands down. They loaded everything we discussed within the agreed upon time-frame and even let me know that I hadn't used all my time and offered to load other items. None of my items were scratched or damaged and they gave me a little interior decorating advice...which was perfect. If I ever have to move again, I will without a doubt use Helping Hands and I HIGHLY recommend ANYONE reading this review to use them as well....you will never want to use anyone else.
