This PetSmart location is BEYOND ghetto when it comes to the adoption experience. I visited three Saturdays in a row hoping to adopt a cat, but the Purrs & Paws staff were incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. Instead of being welcoming, they had an attitude that made the process frustrating and uncomfortable. One older woman, in particular, treated me with clear bias, giving me a hard time while being polite to others.
I brought this to the manager’s attention, and she was very kind and understanding, which I appreciate. However, I would not recommend adopting from here unless you’re prepared to be disrespected and humiliated. If this is how they treat potential adopters, I can’t imagine how they care for the animals. Extremely disappointing.

Ive gone to this groomer a few times, but the last 2 times they had completely ignored how I said to cut my baby's hair. Won't be back

My daughter and I took my granddog (maltipoo) for grooming. When we picked him up, his thick hair was GONE! And to top it off, they had spots where they went to low! THEN we I asked why they charged us 30 mins Grooming fee and 10 mins grooming, Ms. Lady with the nose piercing gave me a stupid answer! I was too tired to go back and forth (a bunch of BS)! I missed the young man who normally does Prince’s cut (he moved). This is my last time! Don’t waste your time!!!

Great store for all pet needs. Customer service is mostly good. The staff at this location is warm and friendly, except only one lady… she doesn’t care to reciprocate, let alone smile. Guess she was having a bad day 😑

I haven't been in along time but decided to go bk and 3wks ago my puppy Lilah grooming was spot on and I know people are not perfect. Today she looks like I groomed her mot professionals. They charged me $104.00 but discounted it because she wouldn't let him do her feet. It's sad. I think I'm gonna have to practice with my grooming kit. I am looking at my puppy and her feet isn't done it's still hair between her paw and she don't even smell like sh3s been bathed. I even got the luxury package. I'm calling bk up there tomorrow. $ 91.00 I feel really stupid for even paying before I seen her. God don't like ugly this is the reason I stopped going there. I guess it's shame on me now!!! My heart is hurting. I work hard for my money and he wasn't even there. Someone else had to clean up her face. I'm tell yall nothing had changed with her she still looked the freaking same. Now my husband is upset with me because I paid them but I did because of the ladt time Trey did her was really good.

I adopted Princess on 05/29/24
My kitten( Princess) is dying….On the contract it says that “To the best of our knowledge your pet is in good health.” So of course I’m going to trust when they say that. Why would they sell me a sick cat and not tell me right? My kitten still had worms when I received her. And now she’s not eating, drinking or even moving. When I adopted she had and eye infection that was said to go away in “a day or to, but she’s going to be fine after” it’s been 8 days and her eye has gotten worse, so I called, of course they didn’t answer. I didn’t leave a voicemail which later she criticized me for. Which was 2 days ago. She asked why did I call her and not the vet, but when I adopted they told me to call if they were any problems, so I did. The lady on the phone told me that “I don’t know how she has worms because she’s been dewormed… they must have been passing through.” She supposedly has gotten dewormed five days before we adopted her, so I don’t know how they’re still passing though. But forget that, she had an attitude as soon as she answered the phone, but I kept my calm until she kept criticizing me on not calling the vet and threatening me to take me to court for animal abuse even though they are the ones who sold me a sick kitten, I adopted two kittens at one time and the other is perfectly fine, but for some reason she’s sick and he’s not, and somehow it’s my fault for not wanting to have an expensive vet bill and take her to the vet though they told me she was fine. It was their fault, they’re the ones who gave me a sick Kitten and did NOT tell me that she was sick. I would urge you not to adopt from these people because they are liars and their cats/kittens are not in good health. I asked if the kitten was in good health and they said yes, so I adopted her. If she weren’t in good health I wouldn’t have adopted her. The only thing they told me was to“bring her back in 8 to 10 days for her next vaccination but other than that she is fine”. A waste of time and money.

The store is clean, the prices are fair, but some of the employees are down right disrespectful. “Uhh that’s the cage??” No it’s not, not that it should matter as this temporary enclosure is sold IN your store as GREAT for said animal. Don’t try and dumb down care instructions for me, ask my experience with said animal instead. I don’t come in here for judgment and condescension.

100% would recommend taking your dog quite literally anywhere else to get groomed.

Associates are good but they may be shorthanded. Pickup wait time is usually not bad
