This store harkens back to the days of local operators looking after their local customers, selling local products wherever they can. From the managers to the cashiers to the people stocking the floor, all are friendly as can be. And beyond that, if you're paying attention, they have the best deals and best sales in town. Worth your time and well worth your support.

When i entered the store, i was confronted with the worst odor that permeated the entire store. This was second time that i visited this location, so the first visit, I thought maybe it was a bad day, but months later, while on my way home, i stopped in to pick up an onion and bell pepper and there was the worst stench throughout the store. I will never buy meat or any prepared food from there, future more, i will never return to that location, in addition to the Phenix City AL location. Additionally, the prices marked on the grocery items are higher at the register. The bell pepper sign indicated 60 cent each, but the cashier said they were 99 cent each. I had to go back to produce and retrieve the sign. Those locations need to be closed for serious fumigation and sterilization.

I was told today by cashier by the name of Jennifer you don't tell customers to shut up you help people they won't help find stuff that you need they don't give a crap about people somebody needs to do something about the smart-ass cashiers I believe they think they own the store I know who owns it. So be careful rats are running around the store I seen online a lady posted a rat going towards a man I don't know cash here tell me to shut up good luck people

I shop here because it's close to my home but recently the prices have increased by DOLLAR amounts and the produce is never fresh anymore. I have to inspect every item because majority of the items on the shelves are expired. Need new management or regional oversite for river rd location. They close at 10 but lock the doors at 9:30. The only saving grace is the cashiers are nice and have good customer service.

Prices are ok. Meat isn't always fresh. So check it closely. And the fruit is sometimes a little old to be for sale.
I still like to shop here from time to time. Small town feel grocery store. Much more enjoyable than shopping in Walmart.
