Drive thru extremely slow.Inside clerks are faster.You need to get the right customer service rep if going inside for other issues.I don’t bank here my mom does and they sux!

I do not use Synovus outside of what we do for business accounts. I’ve used all of the locations in Columbus and this by far is the worse location to use because of solely one banker who makes a simple bank run difficult and sometimes dangerous because she will refuse to count deposits and want either me or my managers to transport back and forth. She is the only teller that refuses the bags of they are over or short regardless of the fact of us having money to correct it on site. I’ve went in some days and she even was hesitant to give me a box for changing. Instead of readily or willingly helping she asked “do you not have a box”? As if she saw me walk in the bank with one. I will continue to post reviews and/or complain to the bank until something is done about how she treats people.

Slowest bank I’ve ever been to. Be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes per car. Happens everyday!

This is the last branch you want to go if you are with Synovus. I have an account with them from last seven years and just made one deposit with this branch today around 4 o’clock and I received a notice of delay availability. Never have this problem ever other branch. I will close this account this following Monday and go to some other bank cares. This is a shame on Synovus.

Well, Synovus.. local mafia bank for " old good guys ".I dont know exactly , what position is of Fren Stanford there , looks like just loyal" phone " lady.Whoever she is, she needs to retire and take care of her pets.Her voice represents death.Where is young people to make that place better .She is so " sugary" rude, 100% careless, nicely careless, as american tradition .It's about how we, you live.

I waited for an hour before it became evident that the ongoing employee tea party was an exponentially higher priority for them than any of that banking nonsense. You're better off burying jars of cash

This is terrible that I go to the drive thru to cash a check written off their bank and they say I have to go inside because I don't have an account with them ? when I get inside they tell me it's a $5 charge to cash the check written off their bank. Sorry can't do it.

Home number to any of the branches is the same. Keep you on the line holding for 15-30 minutes and then can't verify who you are even though you have given them all the security questions they ask for with at least 5 different people at the same branch. It's like they never pass the information on to where it needs to be for the next time you call. Then you have to go to main branch and do it all over again. Just terrible service from certain individuals not all of them.

Horrible bank. Continuously messing up transfers which cause missed payments. For example: transferred money from one account to another. Over a week later it still has not been processed but money has been taken out of my account. They have horrible customer service. I have a degree in finance and I can assure you this is probably one of the worst banks in Columbus, GA. They offer no incentive or even try to appeal to the customers (which I have been for 11 years) Closing my account tomorrow morning. I suggest you do the same. I hope a better bank buy this one out and fills it with competent employees.

Banking with them for 10 years. Suddenly canceled all my accounts. NO EXPLANATION WHY!! NO Synovus official seems to know anything. Since these are business accounts; will take weeks of work to change bank accounts. I think its this Bradley park branch. If you have to bank with Synovus; definitely go to another branch!!!

Synovus mortgage does not have a way to view or pay your mortgage online. I can't believe that it's 2020 and I have to mail in a check or sit in a long, slow drive through just to pay my mortgage. If you don't need a monthly inconvenience in your life, you don't need a Synovus mortgage.

I have banked with Synovus since I relocated here in 2016. I’ve never had any issues with their service, so they were at the top of my list to get a mortgage. Unfortunately, by the end of the mortgage process I feel like I have been run over by a bunch of used car salesmen. The process that is supposed to take 60 days tops, took 90 days. Those 90 days were nothing but a pain in the *ss. From the very beginning I told the loan officer exactly what type of mortgage I qualified for and wanted to proceed with. Well after the first week or so I was informed by his assistant that he was “looking into what type of mortgage would be best for me- given that they have in house options that could be better than the one I had requested.” Well, of course there wasn’t a better option just like I told them. The following 12 weeks were absolutely ridiculous. They charged me every single closing charge that they could. So much so they had to issue a credit note on the paperwork showing that due to my closing costs being over the legal amount, they issued me a credit for the overage. Almost every day I would receive an email from someone in the mortgage department needing a copy of something, something needed signing, etc. Not only did they not use any form of checklist so I could do everything at one time, they would tell me either on the phone or by email that they needed this item “right away,” or “immediately,” always stating to me that it had to be done right then and there or the process would grind to a halt. I can list a thousand reasons why I would never wish these people upon my worst enemies, but hopefully you understand by now that this is no place to go for a mortgage.
