My family and I traveled to Tanger outlets in Commerce, Georgia to visit Aerie. My daughter and I were looking for outfits to wear to a family gathering. Upon arriving to the store at approximately 4pm we walked into the store and began browsing. My daughter and I were searching for sweaters and leggings. There were 4 sales associates standing at the cash wrap gossiping. They never acknowledged we were in the store. After ten minutes or so I interrupted their conversation to ask for help looking for brown not-ribbed leggings for my daughter to accompany a cream sweater she had picked out. After requesting assistance, the associate with long brown hair came over to assist and as she did one of the other associates spoke into her headset and made a comment about my family and my interrupting their conversation. The other associates laughed while the one helping had to hold back her smirk. Upon my realizing this, the associate tried to find the leggings in the computer and as she approached the cash wrap two of the girls left aerie and walked back into American Eagle. At that point I took the sweater from my daughter and laid it on top of the large brown box on the cash wrap and I told the associate would not be purchasing anything in their store because they were so incredibly rude. On top of the rude encounter we were never acknowledged and would not have been approached by them until the asking for help.As a loyal AE and aerie customer l am extremely disappointed. Literally, their leggings are the only ones I wear! I have spent thousands of dollars in your stores each year and had planned on spending $200 + today. As a former store manager I was appalled by the sales of associate’s lack of customer service. Please train your staff to see, know, and do better. Also, employees should have some basic respect for their customers. I would be embarrassed to have these 4 young girls working in my stores and representing my company.

As a member of the leadership staff, I'd like to say that we strive for customer service. If you do not receive a great shopping experience or have an issue with a product, please let a member of management know while you are there. We can address what's going on right away and make things right. I know staff has changed over the years and there may have been some inconsistencies, but presently we have a wonderful staff that is here to serve you! Speaking for our entire team, we do not want anyone leaving our store with negative feelings about any part of their shopping experience.

I really enjoyed the stuff here at the Commerce location but hate the shirt. First time I wore it, layers of the material kept shedding all over the place. See photo.

I walked in, first thing I notice, a sign that says card only, no cash. Not an issue, I use cards. Next, a young female sitting on the table up front. Maybe she’s a greeter and also disabled. I wasn’t greeted. As I shopped the store, nobody spoke to me. I asked a question to the young man who didn’t know the answer, whatever, new people etc, he was working on folding, I work retail, I’m glad he was at work for you. I buy two jeans. Signs everywhere, bogo 50% all bottoms. Signs say nothing about exclusions. The jeans apparently weren’t included despite having a sign on their shelf. I went back to the sign and a young female approached and asked if I needed help. I pointed this out and was told that the signage doesn’t necessarily reflect the right items and there is no way as a customer to distinguish. This store used to be run so well. When the previous manager was there it was a pleasant environment. Once that manager left, it continued to run well under the acting SM. I will not shop here again. I don’t blame a young staff for its stores failed leadership. My last few visits at multiple AEO stores in this market have been a huge disappointment and i really like the product. I will now be forced to make all purchases online where the website will be a better customer experience.

Waited in line while numerous members of the staff had a conversation about personal things directly behind me. When a staff member finally stepped in to check me out, there was zero customer service as she continued to talk to her co-workers.

Extremely over priced I didn’t see much of a discount. Clothes that were supposedly on sale were not. After I addressed it with the cashier I received a lame excuse from the staff that the item was misplaced. Cashiers dress inappropriately, they looked like they were going to the beach. I would not come back.

A lot of items on the sales racks didn't have sales tags attached, so it wasn't clear if items were actually on sale. Overall, the store was very clean and mostly organized. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Came in to do a return and cashier was very rude. I had a problem with my online order and all I needed to do was return the products that I PURCHASED. I had the order receipt, order number and everything you need for a return. I explained what happened and in my head it was a simple return and could easily be handled. She called the manager and the manager proceeded to tell me the order number wasn’t pulling up, and then when it did she said I had returned the items already and acted like I was wrong and treated me like I was suspicious and did something wrong, when I literally never returned the items. She didn’t mind helping or trying to, only told me to talk to online customer service, which I did and the lady online said “Doesn’t show as returned, your order is perfectly fine and you can return it. And here is a label if you would like to ship”. Simple as that but apparently the cashier couldn’t do her job because she was too busy judging me by my outfit and being rude. Never coming back to this location.

This was my favor store, but for the last couple times I been treat badly specially cashiers was mean. I said to them good morning they look at me no answer. When I ready yo leave I said thank you they don’t said anything.When I ask for help they act mad.I ask my self maybe this store is a racist, and act Flickr that because I’m Hispanic, because I when to several store in commerce and I was treated amazing.

I brought jeans in to return because they didn’t fit me. I tried them on once and realized it as soon as I got home. As I took them to the store to return them they were so rude to me. The tag on the pants were SIZE 18 , and come to know the reason they didn’t fit me were because they were a size 20. And I very disrespectfully found that out from 2 workers that worked there. Thanks to them misplacing a size tag on there pants I can no longer return them. Even though it wasn’t my fault. They wouldn’t even give me store credit.
