I felt like a criminal as three Home Depot employees carefully watched as I had to ring myself up. Despite newslines, the largest source of retail shrink is internal and by employees. Afterall, it would only take one employee eyeballing me at the register. Of course I would never suggest Home Depot simply open a register on Memorial Day weekend; that would be ludicrous!

They do not have tap to pay on the registers and so I had to leave about $30 worth of merchandise I was picking up for my mother-in-law because her Discover credit card is on my phone. This is 2024. The only large stores I know of around here but do not do tap to pay is here and Walmart. Join the 21st century why don't you? Off to Lowe's it is then.And oh by the way, the web form for complaints that you're going to put on here doesn't help anything. You cannot copy the link. But hey that's one way to make sure that your customers don't file a formal complaint on your website.

My husband went In today, to ask about some mulch going on sale! They lady that was working in the garden area may 16th 2024 about 9:15am or so she was playing on her phone, so he asked her a question about the mulch and she had a HORRIBLE attitude towards him, said just tell me to get off my phone! He was really trying to find out about some mulch! This was not the first time this lady has had an attitude! I will be calling the store manger tomorrow there’s no reason why she should be treating customers this way! She does not need to be working with the public in my eyes! She better be glad I was not with him because I would be in banks county! I don’t talk to my husband like that and I be damn if she’s going to, it’s a shame!

I went in to purchase Home Defense and I asked the young man working the return lane where to find it and he didn’t really want to help me. He told me that he didn’t know where to find it and for me to try row number two. There was nothing chemical on it. So as I went back to ask him to get someone else to help me I saw the Home Defense right in front of the counter that he was working at. I didn’t see it because when you come in you only see the side of it and I saw using my cane that day and really needed help and that’s what I received and he didn’t even apologize for it. My thing is if you don’t want to be courteous to everyone then you don’t need to work with the public.

Best Home Depot in GA, I will drive from Hamilton Mill to go to the Commerce Home Depot because of the service of the employees!

Worse home depot ... people don't know anything or what they actually can and can not do don't know who to actually contact for help along with just having your own personal discussion at customer service laughing and giggling while standing waiting to be help do better

I went to the Commerce store on Thursday (4-4) to buy a new lawn tractor. I did not see one that I liked on display, so I went to the service desk. I received assistance from "Just Jen". She pulled up lawn tractors on her computer and scrolled through the selection until I saw the one that I wanted. She checked out several store inventories and found the one I wanted at the Gainesville location. "Just Jen" placed the order and did the transaction on my HD credit card. The next day the Gainesville store called me and said they were having a problem starting the tractor and asked if I wanted to wait and see what happened. I cancelled the order and they said my account would be credited. On Saturday (4-6) I went back to the service desk at Commerce and was assisted by Kay. I found another model on the lot and Kay typed up the order. When Kay went to put the charge on my card she discovered that I had only been credited thirty-two dollars. She called card services and got the problem corrected. The tractor was delivered Tuesday (4-9). I would like to thank "Just Jen" and Kay for hanging in there with me.Thanks again,Joe RizzicoJefferson, Ga.
