So I dropped my taxes off in beginning of febuary and I had this same issue with them last year stating my taxes were to be done within a week because I file single which is a simple tax return to do...they took way longer and I took my taxes to Athens last year and got them done withenna day dropping them off this year I called Alps road and they advised me that they would do it and she needed one return and that he block in commerce had to scan the tax return in the system so that my tax rep in Athens could do them..so I waited a week and nothing so the lady at Alps road called me and advised me in 2 days they were done and it wasn't much I would have to pay more having them done and I wouldn't get back but 3oo bucks if that with therthqt I could do them myself for free online and I would get all my money and I did it took 2 weeks and I already had my taxes sent to my bank account.mmhr block in commerce called me today April 1stntellingnme that my taxes were completed and I just needed to sign them....smh I'm shocked I told her I already did my taxes myself online and already got my money back in 2 weeks timeframe!...do not use these people in commerce they are slow and I think there prejudice by my last name as well they made a comment on how to pronounce my last name and kinda made fun of it so I am going to contact there district manager to complain this is uncalled for...here it is April and there just now calling me...waited to the last min to call me...smh this is just wrong!

The personnel at the Commerce, GA location were very unprofessional. I had an appointment at 10:00 with a specific person, but she was a no-show. There was only one person in the office. The receptionist was also a no-show.I had to come back two more times for them to find the time to do my return. The receptionist that had finally shown up when I arrived for my second visit that day was wearing a SpongeBob Squarepants t-shirt. Another Tax preparer was wearing jean shorts and flip flops.The person doing my tax return was constantly checking her text messages and even commented that one of them was from her boyfriend, who likes to send her naughty texts while she is at work. I would sadly expect this kind of behavior from a young person, but this lady was between 65-70 years old.This same person was interrupted several times by other tax preparers needing guidance on how to do their jobs. I advised my sister and brother-in-law to take their business elsewhere.You should consider cleaning house at this location and hire people that know what "professional" means. And hire a manager so that it does not appear to your customers that the inmates are running the asylum.

Witnessed the employee named Rita at the branch in commerce GA cuss out a fellow coworker who was busy helping a client. The lady asked Rita to please not fuss at her Infront of her client but Rita just continued on in a very unprofessional and vulgar way till she caused her fellow coworker to burst into tears.I will not be having my taxes done at this branch, not this year, not when I see such conduct in this office. No employee should be allowed to talk to another coworker in such a rude unprofessional way Infront of customers. In my opinion Rita should be reprimanded or fired at best for not only disrespecting fellow coworkers but for being so blatantly rude to customers. Very unprofessional, very disrespectful. I felt so bad for her coworker who definitely deserves a raise.

Lesson learned: Go to a corporate branch, which are open 5-6 days a week. Experience: 2020 return? Great. Then came 2021 returns: Submitted mine and referred my GF. After several VMs, emails, got nothing back. Office only "open" one half day a week, even during filing season. That doesn't work for me. Finally got an email back...six weeks AFTER filing deadline. More insulting: An explosion of activity and responses (calls, text) ...six MONTHS after filing deadline. Corporate branch in March said this practice had collapsed. Done with em.

Worst tax service and customer service I have ever delt with. No call backs with messages left and email's. Had anappointment set and no showed after promise of making it right for previous horrible service. Do not use this franchise if you want your taxes done. There's no communication and out and out lies. Wish there was a no star option.

Ive filed taxes with them for 2 years now and I will never come back again I dropped off my W-2 then received a call from them telling me i was only getting 200$ bucks back this year because I received government assistance meaning a stimulus check from last year and I went back and got my W-2 back from them went to a different place told the new place what they told me and they told me that they were full of it that it was not true therefore they got me $1,600 back this year if you want maximum return do not come here they will screw you
