My experience at this hotel was unacceptable from the moment I called to ask a simple question about incidentals. The front desk attendant, Kimberly, got frustrated, spoke to me rudely, and then hung up in my face. That should have been my warning.
I was booked for two nights, but shortly after breakfast I received a call telling me I needed to leave because “the fire marshal would be coming” and the owner was “paranoid” about me having my 3 children and 2 visitors. I have never in my life been asked to leave a hotel because my children needed a place to sleep. They were well behaved and respectful, and they did not deserve to be treated that way. The whole situation felt discriminatory and completely unprofessional.
The conditions of the hotel made everything worse. There were roaches, the breakfast was almost nonexistent, and I even found a tooth in my sausage. That was the final straw.
I would strongly advise anyone considering this place to stay far away. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

I was so happy with this location. The room was clearly freshly renovated and it was huge. They called it a double king family suite but it only cost us $51 plus 6000 Choice Hotel points. Breakfast was nice but only sausage, not eggs. But that's such a small thing to get a room with comfortable beds, LVP flooring (no grubby carpet! 😁) and a bright, clean lobby and breakfast area. We didn't use them but they also had a really nice pool and laundry facilities.

Do not stay here. Don’t. I’m giving you a valid warning before you book your stay. If you do stay here bring your own towels, paper towels and bedding. They will charge you a fee to use any of their items, $70 by the way. Then they will tell you, you damaged their property when they haven’t even washed anything yet. But there was trash and old food under the furniture below the tv.

Excellent stay. Room was clean. (Failed to take pics when we arrived, so the mess is ours!) Only real complaint was spiders! There were 3 different ones.
We were in town to go to a University of Georgia game. Hotel was a straight shot to Athens.
Plenty of options surrounding for gas or food. Nice shopping plaza with a variety of stores some outlets.
Son loves comic book shops. Visited 3 while on this trip, 2 in Commerce and 1 in Athens. They were all super nice. (Pics are from just one of them.)

WORST PLACE EVER! NOT CHILDREN FRIENDLY AT ALL!! Do not use their towels! Don't sleep on their sheets! You will be charged money for the slightest dirt particle. SCAMMERS!! BEWARE!! They don't wash towels or bedding with bleach... just some eco-friendly stuff. Everything in the room is white! Room had huge spiders 🕷 everywhere. Staff doesn't know who their hotel manager is. Majority of staff is rude. Location is good enough. Don't sit on the desk chair. The faux leather is peeling off and gets everywhere... which the don't or won't sweep up during your stay. I think this is the only hotel I've ever left a bad review for.

Horriable experience. Paying guest intown for work for the week and asked for late checkout on last day and wouldn’t accommodate. I extended my stay one more night to finish work and they called the sheriff to have me removed from the property after paying! Housekeeping manager needs a class on customer service!

Dark and dingy. There were no chairs to sit on except an office chair that was ripped to shreds. The bathroom is too tiny. There are no towel racks or bars in the bathroom. The tub was dangerously slippery as there were no grab bars. The smoke detector kept beeping at night. Service personnel were very nice.

They're very rude and disrespectful the lady with red hair was very rude and disrespectful I'm a elite member get a 2-hour early check-in and check out and when I checked in last night the lady approved it but up on checking out the lady lied and said there's no such thing as a 2-hour late checkout on the member status which that's a bogus lie because anyone that is a member you can go to your benefits as being a member and it clearly shows you a 2-hour late checkout and 2-hour early check-in the lady cup $100 deposit all because it was 11:15 when we checked out when we had up until 1:00
On top of that we was getting ice out ice machine and seen one of the housekeepers short lady that looks like a boy doing different drugs on the side of the building I would advise people not to go here because they look for any reason to keep your deposit

DO NOT COME HERE AND WASTE UR MONEY. the lady with the orange hair at the front desk has a history of keeping customers deposit. the women with the black hair was getting high in the restroom before breakfast. they are extremely rude & disrespectful. never again

Was going to stay here the other night but was told there would be a extra charge because I was local although it has no mention of it online. Staff was very rude so I ended up staying at Best Western, much nicer staff and much better in all
