Fearing the unknown has never been a common trait of mine. But, I must admit that when I was told by Dr. Abdalla that I was in kidney failure, I honestly thought that my life was over. I am thankful to know that I was truly mistaken. Obviously, I have had to make adjustments because of this hurdle, but I was determined to leap over it and keep moving. Because of the dedicated staff, I have been able to do just that! I am blessed to have each and everyone of them in my corner....from the admin administrator to the dietician to the social worker to the technicians to the RN to FA to the physician. I have been a patient at this location for over 4 years. I have experienced 'second to none' dedication and expertise from all of them. They have been very instrumental in my care and educating me on how to manage this condition. They have always gone above and beyond to ensure I have the best defense against this illness......which is knowledge. They are also very supportive of the fact that I work full time by adjusting their schedules so I can have my treatment about 1 1/2 hour earlier than the clinic actually opens. All I can say is wow! Since I have been challenged with this hurdle, I am blessed to have this staff of professionals on the journey with me, helping to get over it! So, thank you, Dr, Abdalla, Cheryl, Valerie, Gorman, Jennifer, Tracy, Donnie, Ianna, Leigh Ann, Mary and Dawn and to our newest team member Marlo. Welcome to the family! I appreciate each and every one of you! Thanks for making this hurdle easier to jump!
