Not my personal bank with me having 3 different business I had to use bank for the first and last time. I was mistreated by manager and some other lady in this place of business. End up being there fault they wasn't woman enough to look at me and apologize. Need to get rid of these type of business in our neighborhood. My customer who wrote me the check will be closing there business account here glad he decided to do that. Stay away!

I’m not a customer of Georgia Own, however my client payed me in a check for her service so I decided to go to their location to cash the check. The very first time I went the tell was so nice and cash my check with no charge. That was back in December 2022. I decided to go on today March 2023 because my client gave me another check. Their customer service was great the first time i said I’ll definitely be going back and cashing the check plus open a checking savings and business account. The teller I went to was Adelaide and her customer service was horrible she was very rude and charged me to cash my check. Because of her rudeness I didn’t open neither account. She stero type me because the way I am dressed. Didn’t give me a recipe, didn’t hand me my identification or put my money in the envelope. If your company is going to charge 5 dollars to cash a check all tellers needs to do this all the time. Just because her rudeness I will not open an account with your company

Member over 30yrs. Investments,savings,loans for many needs; educ. Help for families; easy of access to accts, ,via app,phone,teletalk. Accessible,helpful loan officers: known fir many yrs.always seek them out before going to location.

Every time my family opens a checking account with them, they say a debit card will arrive in 7-10 business days. It never arrives, and then we have to call customer service (which takes hours) to receive a new one, and they charge us a lossed or damage fee to replace the card. Then we have to call them back to remove the fee because we never lossed or damaged it; We just never received the first card. This is ridiculous. You need to do better.

I've been banking with this institution for 15 years and this location is the worst bar none. Incapable, incompetent, disorganized and ill equipped to be servicing members of Georgia's Own Credit Union. Employees including managers have zero ability to follow through or follow up. Never have I been able to complete ANY task, including simple deposits, in less than 45 minutes. Appointments are an absolute joke and you will be passed around by employees like that of a moldy fruitcake on Christmas.

I really wish I read these reviews before opening an account with them. This is the WORST bank ever. Please bank with any other credit union besides them. Customer service is NON EXISTENT. Their automated phone system is a joke and terrible. When you do finally get in contact with someone they keep transferring you send you back to an automated system that hangs up because it doesn’t recognize your “social”. Yikes. I should’ve just banked with another bank. I will be closing my account. Please save yourself a headache and deal with a bank who actually cares about your money. I really had high expectations for this bank. Such a disappointment!S/N - please read all of their reviews and save yourself! They don’t even care about marketing and maintaining good reviews to bring positive feedback and work on the negative feedback. Don’t trust a company that doesn’t invest in their marketing strategies!

Georgias own is not a very customer friendly bank I will soon be moving all of my money away from this horrible banking system. I have been with georgias since I was 16 years old and I have dealt with them declining my cards for no apparent reason and then no customer service can help me. I feel like my hard money is trapped and I can't even use it when I want too! Don't ever get this bank and if your old please be careful because these people try to confuse you with All these passwords

Absolutely the worse customer service if any at all.Once they completely lost a deposit and now my son made his RV payment through the app and low and behold they sent the check to me even though the pay to order is “Georgia’s Own”. I tried to call and as I type this review sitting at Georgia’s Own Credit Union I drove the 35 miles to the bank and now have been here 1.5 hours and been on hold for 2.15 hours. Do you people really think that we as customers reply have hours to be on hold and even spitting in the lobby. You people have always been like this so don’t blame it on employee shortage or Covid !!!! I have 5 accounts with this bank, I believe it’s time to leave for a bank that has “customer service”!!!!
