Secured a storage unit with a customer service representative on a Sunday for the location on Old Covington Hwy in Conyers. However, upon arrival at the unit with all of my items in tow, my unit was locked. After calling customer service back, I discovered that all available units are locked, the onsite office was closed, and customer service is unable to grant me access to my unit. Thankfully someone had moved out of a unit and after being in the phone for about an hour,customer service transferred me to the new larger unit.
They wanted me to pay the difference in the price and notified me that I would be required to pay higher fees because of the larger unit. I asked to speak with a supervisor who was able to waive the fee for the transfer to the larger unit but stated again that I would be required to pay the higher rental amount.
I accepted the transfer and moved my belongings into the larger unit. On Monday, I contacted the office who explained that all available units are locked because of people living in the units. He called the regional manager who offered two months at the 10x10 rate and stated that after 2 months I will have to pay the higher 10x20 rate or move to my original 10x10 rental.
There is a definite disconnect between the customer service and the physical location. Customer service should not rent units when the office is closed knowing that the rented unit cannot be accessed until the onsite representative unlocks the unit.

The property manager J, is very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to renting a storage unit at secure care. He helped from beginning to end with the process for me and my family. He knew the ins and outs of the facility and what would be the best fit for our family size. I left feeling very appreciative of him and like I made the best decision after touring several other storage spaces. Thank you J and keep up the great work! Mrs.Vee

Place is not safe, my unit was broken into and things where stolen. I didn't even get a sorry. That's the reason I rented the storage unit, for security, I am hearing that there are break ins frequently, 7 other units where broken into on the Same time that mine was broken into. I have insurance but it won't cover all my things and the insurance company ask for a shopping list of things to get reimbursed. I asked for a discount because my unit is not safe, there is a hole by the new latch that makes it even easier for thrives to get in. For that reason I asked for a discount because I have to move to a new unit which will take a day which equals time and money. Very disappointed and will not recommend to no one, will be talking to local news so everyone knows that your storage units are not safe, your company is not interested in protecting the clients belongings, only charging every month. I have been renting for over 3 years and have paid close to $9000.00 for rental and no security.
