My experience with the two white women tellers are always very “dry” at the Conyers location. No smiles or feeling that I’m welcomed or appreciated. However, I’ve always had a wonderful and pleasant experience with the two ladies that work at the desks, one black and the other white with long brunette hair. They’re the ONLY reason I’m rating a 4-star; otherwise, it would be a 2.

I had an issue with depositing a check using the mobile app. I went into the Conyers branch and Heather took care of the problem and explained why the mobile app would not work. All of the people at the Conyers branch are great to deal with and always very helpful.

Tasha Cox helped me with a check, missing since December, and gave me peace about all the what ifs. Tasha is a valuable asset to United Community Bank, as well as to my husband and I, in caring for our accounts. She always has a smile and "come into my office" for us. We love her!

I'm always greeted when entering the branch. The person who helped me was thorough and gave me good information regarding my social security check deposit timeline. There was one lady 8 years that somehow got promoted to a branch manager. So glad she is gone. She was rude and I cannot believe she got promoted, but so glad she is no longer there. I love going into this branch since she is no longer there. Great branch manager that I'd in this location.

I recently closed on my home on 10/21/2022. I began working with Jennine Hunter (NMLS #1780411) on 1/31/2022, and it has been nothing but poor communication, lack of time management, and lack of professionalism from beginning to end. She does not do what is expected per her job role (from making sure numbers are correctly outlined on paperwork to educating customers on “qualifying programs”), and she also does not complete tasks in a timely manner (such as locking rates in a timely manner) which ended with me having a higher interest rate on my loan than I would have had if she completed her tasks at the 60 day mark as initially discussed. I had to reach out to Adam Born (President), Jenny Kennan (Jennine’s supervisor), and Jason Hultgren (Jenny’s supervisor) due to being completely dissatisfied with the services that I received. I was given about $1400 in concessions, which I appreciate, however; that does not compare to the amount of money that I will have to spend extra over the loan term due to Jennine’s negligence. I’ve sent emails to both Jenny Kennan and Jason Hultgren outlining Jennine’s lack of communication, lack of time management, and lack of professionalism. I would not recommend working with this bank because it is clear that they are only concerned with making money rather than customer satisfaction.

I was in the branch about two minutes before anyone acknowledged me. I was the only person waiting. After I was finally called to the teller, she never greeted me. I told her the reason I was there. She performed my transaction. I asked if the branch manager was there and her attitude changed.

I am writing this review In reference to United community bank as a whole. I am so dissatisfied with them. I had $3400 withdrawn from my account with fraud. It was to the same company and back to back charges and I was never contacted that it was suspicious activity. Somehow the withdrawal amount limit was changed without my knowledge. Every time I call and speak with a customer service I have a terrible experience. Only one employee has tried to help out of the McDonough office she has been so sweet however her hands are tied. I have yet to have had anyone contact us that they are even working on the matter. It has been 7 days and the only person who is trying to help us is at the local branch. I’ve been with this bank for many many years but I am ready to change as soon as I can get this handled.
