  I would never have expected this place to be so good from the looks of the place but it was recommended by the locals and there were a lot of trucks parked so I gave it a try. Glad I did. Good fried chicken. Good vegetables. Fried cornbread.

  Chicken was pretty good -not too greasy. Potatoes were good but not very hot. Gravy was fake. Broccoli was good but again not hot.

  Forget Carter's this is the absolute best soul food in Cordele. Everything is good from the meat loaf to the ribs. They have rutabagas! And lots of other sides. The fried chicken is melt in your mouth yummy! Best kept secret in southeast georgia! Located across from new Courthouse downtown. Drive thru sometimes does not open so go inside.

  This place is in the back of a gas station/convenience store. It doesn't look like much, but the food is the BEST. They always have fried chicken. Other choices are available, and they are all good also. Sometimes it's meatloaf, sometimes pork chops, sometimes they have chitlins, but if you don't come early you won't get any. I don't eat them chitlin, but if I did, I would eat them from the Fast Stop. The veggies are all so good (butter beans, turnips, creamed potatoes green beans, corn). It comes with your choice of cornbread or roll. They have desserts available, and I am sure they are good - but I have never had enough room for dessert because the portions are HUGE. The sweet tea here is great also.
