This is the first year we’ve decided to keep our boat at a Marina. We were torn between Lake Sinclair and Lake Blackshear as they are about equal distance to our house. Blackshear is a little closer and we were willing to sacrifice lake size if the situation was right. Well, as soon as we talked to Letisha (if I spelled your name wrong I’m so sorry) we were absolutely sold on The Marina on Lake Blackshear. She was absolutely amazing getting us set up with a slip and doing it in a friendly and professional way. We simply paid a deposit and started on April 1st. When I arrived to put the boat in, she explained everything I needed to do and we had a very friendly conversation. Couldn’t be more satisfied with the service, location and condition of the slip. Keep up the great work and we are looking forward to dealing with you this summer.Side note, the weather was horrible the day before I actually put the boat in the water but I wanted to do all the paperwork the the day before to avoid a back-and-forth from Marina to boat launch. I knew I should have called prior to driving down, but I didn’t (my fault). When I arrived the marina was closed due to weather. I went inside the restaurant to ask if that was why and met the chef/manager who was a GREAT guy. He went above and beyond and called the Marina manager and made sure she would be in Easter Sunday before I drove back down. Seems like everyone (employees) at the marina and restaurant are phenomenal!
