I would like to talk to a person but no one will answer the phone , I guess no one is home ?

These folks do great work, and unlike Goodwill, their CEO doesn't fly around in a private plane!!

I spoke with the director of this place and he informed me that no hotel vouchers are giving out in Covington. I'm not sure why other agencies are referring people to them, but I can assure you the only help they offered me was food.

MARY BYRD: I enjoy shopping here on 99 cent Monday. Last Monday there was a lot of clothing pieces for 99 cents, however today there was not ONE blouse with a 99 cent ticket!!!???I couldn’t believe it!!! I cannot believe that wasn’t done on purpose. Why have 99 cent Mondays if you aren’t going to have any item available for that price. I mentioned it to the Manager (I believe)and she said “ she was surprised also)…I thought that was a little odd, but I did find two dresses so I was grateful ?

We are with family this holiday and this Salvation Army was kind enough to still give us some food. Awesome location! The thrift store looks clean and stocked if you can bless others try purchasing here.

I absolutely love the Salvation Army! For so very many reasons but mostly because they help so many people & they're nonprofit... The Salvation Army changed my life! Twice now! I once stayed at the Salvation Army homeless shelter in Gainesville Georgia and they were absolutely amazing! There used to be a lady named Daphne that worked there and she was just absolutely completely and totally amazing! She actually cared about people and would go out of her way to try to help someone who was willing to help himself.. the other employees had the Salvation Army in Gainesville four years ago, well, I can't brag on any of them at all and I'll leave it at that. But what I will say is this.. I recently became a bell ringer, standing outside of designated stores, greeting people as they walked in to a store and then again if they walked out and I'm not sure what I was expecting the job to be like but I most certainly was not expecting it to be as much fun as it is! I have never had so much fun at a job as I have as a bell ringer! It is absolutely the most rewarding thing I have done in years! I wish I had done this sooner! But I'm just thankful to have it now! As far as this location in covington, I have nothing but good things to say about them because they really are just amazing people and an amazing non-for-profit organization! I have only met two of the employees at this particular location but they are absolutely amazing! If there were an option to give 10 stars, I absolutely would! To whoever is reading this, if you happen to see one of the Salvation Army bell ringers standing outside of a store and all you have is one penny.. don't feel ashamed or embarrassed! And if all you have is well wishes or prayers.. please give those! Just give whatever you can because they truly are an amazing organization that changes lives

Not very professional at all. The staff appeared to come off having an attitude and seemed agitated. Someone should be sent here to experience for their self, as to how they treat individuals that come up to this location for assistance.

I love Salvation Army in Covington. I go there once a week. I find the staff friendly and the prices affordable. If you compare to the other thrift stores in the area, you will find that they are better deal by far

Unbelievable... asked if there was a carpet cleaner or shampoo machine. A "store helper" responded that she didn't know. I saw a few vacuums but no cleaners. I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. I walked to the back where the door to the inventory/stock room is. The door was open and I could see a carpet cleaner in a box only 1 foot from the door. I waited for the other customers to leave and asked the cashier lady if she could price the carpet cleaner. She said she is not pricing anything. Not sure if that means she does not want to or is not allowed to. I asked when someone might be able to price it. She responded she did not know. I mentioned I would be glad to pay whatever was a fair price. Still no answer. Begging to buy from the Salvation Army and told NO...WOW.
