If you have lost a four-legged loved one and want them cremated this is the only place to come.
I have used Wheeler twice in the past 5 years. Both times, they have taken the stress away by being as helpful and understanding as they possibly can. Prices are up front, no hidden anything.

April 1, 2025 we had to put our baby to rest. My black pug our old man, pugsley. It was hard , Conyers Animal Hospital helped us, consoled us etc. then wheeler Petuary called and offered their condones. This was my first time ever looking a pet that I owned , and had living with me. I asked if he was alone the rep said no he has other babies here with him heās not alone. Idk why but mentally it made me feel better knowing he wasnāt laying there by himself. They offered necklace styles to put some of his ashes in. I got the necklace , the ā±ļø, his paw print š¾. They gave me military discount ass well he was also my service dog. I highly recommend then idk what the negative comments are about but we didnāt have that experience R.I.p my boy

I can't say enough about Wheeler PETuary. The employees are the sweetest and so compassionate. The employees understand you are grieving. The employees make the cremation process simple. I would highly recommend Wheeler PETuary.

I had to say goodbye to my sweetheart baby girl of 15 year's on 10-22-24. I had rushed her to East Metro Emergency vet. Because she started having Seizures from having terminal lung cancer. I was going to have her Cremated which I do all of my beloved pets. Which EM Uses wheeler petuary. The staff at wheeler petuary where very Sympathetic of the passing of my beloved baby. So I thought. I couldn't believe the utter disrespect that I received because they did not listen to what I wanted to have done for my baby. So if you're thinking of using this place for the cremation of your beloved baby please reconsider and choose somewhere else. It's hard enough having to say Goodbye to your beloved baby. Then to have to deal with complete and utter disrespect of your wishes for your baby is unbelievable. I will be calling East Metro to try and get them to used someone else to handle the after care of there clients passed beloved babies

Did not follow my instructions during cremation in preserving a fur sample, instead chose to ignore my comment entirely. Once confronted by this blatant act of laziness, employees lied creating excuse after excuse in why they didnāt follow my instructions. If I could rate 0 stars I would. They have no respect for their customers and pets.

Staff are completely useless and unable to follow basic instructions. If you want to be listened to on how to handle your beloved pet don't come here.

So many of my babies have been cremated here at Wheelers. Whenever they have been picked up from Lithonia Animal Hospital they have always handled them with such respect and care. When speaking over the phone preparing things for my babies they have always been so compassionate to me. What a wonderful family run company

Our vet recommended sending our sweet girl Lola here, so we let them. Letting her go after 13 years is hard enough and this place has made it that much harder. We have had to explain what we want 4 different times, once to Anne, three times to Dawn. She called today for that third time and continues to say there are no written directions, we explained, two times we gave them to her, this is the third. Having to explain something like this 4 times to people who apprently don't listen or care enought to write something down has made it much more difficult. We will be letting Countryside Vet know how difficult it was to deal with them.

My dog passed away at midnight on 11/29. We brought him to East Metro Animal Emergency Clinic where we signed paperwork to have him cremated by Wheeler Petuary. We could not afford to have him privately cremated, so we chose group cremation, an option where we could not keep his ashes. We were told by a staff member at the emergency clinic that Wheeler Petuary would spread the ashes at their garden instead of them being thrown away. This gave my family and I some peace, thinking that even though we could not keep his ashes, they would be spread at a garden. Two days after his passing, my family and I looked up Wheeler Petuary and decided to visit the establishment to see the garden and pay our respects to our dog. When we arrived, we were shocked to see no garden. The location is located inside an industrial park, near a wooded area with dumpsters. We were very confused, as we were told that there was a garden where the ashes would be spread. They were closed when we visited, so I decided that I would call the next day to get some answers. The next day, I called to figure out the whole garden situation. Through my conversation with the lady who answered the phone (I did not get her name), I found out that there is in fact no garden, and she made it very clear that they do not āspreadā the ashes for group cremation, but ādisposeā of them in the woods behind the establishment, near the dumpsters. As you can guess, I was hysterical. Wheeler Petuary essentially threw my dog as well as many other peopleās pets away. The lady on the phone offered her apologies, which didnāt seem quite sincere to me, and said something along the lines of āWell next time let us know if you canāt afford private cremation so we can put you on a payment plan.ā I just found out my dog was thrown away and all she could do was throw me a sorry apology and a āwell next time do this.ā Side note, if we chose private cremation, we would have had to pay $220 for 8 ounces of ashes. Thatās not even a pound. That same night I called East Metro Animal Emergency Clinic and let them know that there is no garden, and they seemed shocked by what I was telling them. It seems as though they had been told by Wheeler Petuary that there is a garden, and so they have been relaying this piece of false information to people. Again, we are deeply disturbed with the methods of group cremation. Our dogās ashes could have been home with us instead of dumped in some woods by dumpsters. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
