Our vet recommended sending our sweet girl Lola here, so we let them. Letting her go after 13 years is hard enough and this place has made it that much harder. We have had to explain what we want 4 different times, once to Anne, three times to Dawn. She called today for that third time and continues to say there are no written directions, we explained, two times we gave them to her, this is the third. Having to explain something like this 4 times to people who apprently don't listen or care enought to write something down has made it much more difficult. We will be letting Countryside Vet know how difficult it was to deal with them.

My dog passed away at midnight on 11/29. We brought him to East Metro Animal Emergency Clinic where we signed paperwork to have him cremated by Wheeler Petuary. We could not afford to have him privately cremated, so we chose group cremation, an option where we could not keep his ashes. We were told by a staff member at the emergency clinic that Wheeler Petuary would spread the ashes at their garden instead of them being thrown away. This gave my family and I some peace, thinking that even though we could not keep his ashes, they would be spread at a garden. Two days after his passing, my family and I looked up Wheeler Petuary and decided to visit the establishment to see the garden and pay our respects to our dog. When we arrived, we were shocked to see no garden. The location is located inside an industrial park, near a wooded area with dumpsters. We were very confused, as we were told that there was a garden where the ashes would be spread. They were closed when we visited, so I decided that I would call the next day to get some answers. The next day, I called to figure out the whole garden situation. Through my conversation with the lady who answered the phone (I did not get her name), I found out that there is in fact no garden, and she made it very clear that they do not “spread” the ashes for group cremation, but “dispose” of them in the woods behind the establishment, near the dumpsters. As you can guess, I was hysterical. Wheeler Petuary essentially threw my dog as well as many other people’s pets away. The lady on the phone offered her apologies, which didn’t seem quite sincere to me, and said something along the lines of “Well next time let us know if you can’t afford private cremation so we can put you on a payment plan.” I just found out my dog was thrown away and all she could do was throw me a sorry apology and a “well next time do this.” Side note, if we chose private cremation, we would have had to pay $220 for 8 ounces of ashes. That’s not even a pound. That same night I called East Metro Animal Emergency Clinic and let them know that there is no garden, and they seemed shocked by what I was telling them. It seems as though they had been told by Wheeler Petuary that there is a garden, and so they have been relaying this piece of false information to people. Again, we are deeply disturbed with the methods of group cremation. Our dog’s ashes could have been home with us instead of dumped in some woods by dumpsters. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

What a FANTASTIC business!! The staff are the sweetest, most empathetic group of people which makes this difficult process easier to bear. I trusted them with my first baby, my childhood dog who grew up with me for 14 long years and they exceeded any expectations I could have ever had. They kindly cut some my Charlie's hair off his tail and made an ink print of his little nose for me to have as keepsakes per my request. I will forever cherish these items and now my baby can go where ever I go in his beautiful tin box. Thank you so much Wheeler PETuary. I am forever grateful for the kindness and empathy that you showed to me and my baby during this extremely difficult time.

The worst heartbreak(4-12-23) was eased just a little by the compassion, promptness, communication and kindness that we received from Wheelers team. We were given VERY detailed information regarding the entire process. We could not have asked for a better service for my sweet Heidi. We brought her home today and we could not be more pleased with the craftsmanship of the urn, pawprint/photo slot . Thank you for understanding that these pets are our family and we expect the best AND you all delivered.

I just lost my husky mixed due to being hit by a car and wheelers was the only place we could get ahold of to take her body. They were very caring. The turn around was 4 days but everything I picked up was absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much for taking care of my Tara. ??

On Feb 23 my 9 year old Rottweiler Zoey passed. I called a few places but when I called Wheeler it felt more personal then work, which meant alot to me because I'm 100% a dog mommy n when choosing a crematory I wanted to be sure she would be well taken care of... Mr. Steve was very nice and attentive, I dropped her off and witnessed him being kind n gentlewith the body. The turn around was about 4 days but he allowed time for my custom urn to be delivered so he could place the ashes inside for me, so I wouldn't have to transfer her from one urn to the other... they made a print of her paw and attached a super sweet poem and card as well as a certificate of cremation. I sure don't want to but in the future (I have 2 other dogs) I would surely choose them for my PETuary... Thank you so much Mr. Steve and Mrs. Melanie ?? #AllDogsGoToHeavenP.s it was also super affordable

Since we are still dealing with Covid, we were not able to go inside, but Steve came out and greeted us. He was sensitive and caring, talked thru our preferences, and then took our sweet Lucy inside. When I spoke with him on the phone, he always spoke with sincerity and care. A few days later they had the paw print ready to pick up and held it with no problems since I couldn't get down there right away. It's a bit out of our way, and although there weren't a lot of frills, we didn't need them. When I picked up her paw print, inside the box was a personally signed note from the owner. I broke down all over again. This was so unexpected and such a thoughtful thing to enclose. I hope not to need them again anytime soon, but when I do, I will return here, knowing I and my pet will be treated lovingly.

The entire staff was very sensitive when we lost our Sissy. They not only do a very good job, but do it with sensitivity. While I hope that it is quite some time before I have to use them again, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for anyone who has lost a pet.

I cannot say thank you enough to We Ride to Provide K9 and Wheeler Petuary in Covington, Ga! They treated Spike with more respect and care than I could ever imagine! Wheeler Petuary also provided this service at no cost to my family and I! They do this because they are passionate about Police K9s and their families! Most Police K9s are left to the handler and their family to be taken care of monetarily after they are retired. This can be difficult for most! Wheeler Petuary and We Ride to Provide K9 step up to help ease that strain in this situation. We have Spike back home with us now forever. A lot of people lose pets. We have in the past. BUT a Police K9 is way different than a pet. Spike would lay down his life for me, my family, another Officer or citizen in a split second! These dogs are made different by God. I spent more time with Spike than the rest of my family. The void he’s left with me and my family will ALWAYS be there. We Ride to Provide K9 and Wheeler Petuary have made this process a bit easier!

Our boy Cooper passed away unexpectedly December 31st. We were helpless and heartbroken. We still feel lost without him but now we will always have a part of him with us. Steve was comforting and made the process smooth. Thank you Steve for taking good care of Coop and keeping him safe. Steve treated Cooper as if he knew him and we cherish that. Thank you.
