I like the property. However they have more than doubled the rent in less than a year.

So far, so good. I have a 36ft Fleetwood Motorhome & it fits perfectly in the slot that I rented in the back part of this establishment. Happy with the location too 😊

WORST PLACE EVER!! We got a supposed 10x20 unit last August for $95/mo. Throughout that year they raised our monthly unit rent in different increments and finally when the monthly rent went to $200/mo. We said ENOUGH! Not to mention we found dead rats in our unit on multiple occasions!! DO NOT STORE YOUR BELONGINGS HERE! YOU’LL REGRET IT!

SpareBox Storage has some of the best customer service I’ve experienced—especially thanks to Yan, who has always been polite, courteous, and genuinely helpful anytime I’ve had a question or concern. Her professionalism has made a frustrating experience a little easier to navigate.
That said, the biggest issue I’ve had is with the company’s rent practices. When I first began renting with them, I had two parking spots and a storage unit. About a year in, I was contacted and told to remove my ATV and trailer due to low tire pressure. I don’t live in the state, so I had to pay someone to come take care of that. As soon as those items were removed, my rent went up by nearly $40. When I called to ask why, I was told it was simply a scheduled rent increase. I was shocked to learn that these increases can happen every six months with no limit on how much they can go up.
After reading through other customer reviews, it seems this is a common issue—and it’s made me seriously consider moving my things elsewhere.
If customer service alone were the measure, I’d give them 5 stars. But unpredictable rent hikes with no cap make it hard to justify staying long-term

Customer service refused to help us. First month rent was supposed to be free but they ended up charging us $64 and then told us that we did it wrong when there’s not an actual person on site at the storage unit place to talk to. The lady on the phone was rude, kept interrupting, and this was all around just a really negative experience. I would give it zero stars, but I had to give it one to make this review.

Needed to change auto debit information for my account. Shani was so helpful changing not only that but also with updating my change in address.

This storage facility acts like it’s a luxury apartment complex, raising the rent every single year with zero justification. I just received ANOTHER rent increase! They claim it’s for “maintenance,” but my unit has crumbling concrete, holes in the floor, and rats getting inside. There is absolutely no sign of maintenance happening—just higher bills for worse conditions.
Let’s be real: they’re raising the rates because they can, not because they’ve improved anything. It’s pure greed, masked as inflation. At this point, the cost is creeping up like another car payment, and I’m paying top dollar for a deteriorating, rodent-infested unit.
I’ve been advised to report this facility to local health/code enforcement: Rats and structural damage could violate local health or building codes.
If you’re looking for clean, safe, reasonably priced storage—look elsewhere. This place is all about profits, not service.
**UPDATE: they responded to my review saying they’d send an email. Never sent it. Not that I’m surprised.

Loaded my car, went to move into unit on my only day off in 7 weeks and the unit was so packed full of someone else’s stuff that I couldn’t get the door open.
