I called to see how much spay/neuter typically costs there to see if I wanted to make an appointment for my cat. The person who answered the phone was "not authorized to provide that information," and would first need to take all my info. Get real.

Took the dog's Turner evaluation for teeth cleaning. We have three small dogs. 2 Scottie's and 1 Westie. 3 dogs at $350 each is a $1050. They brought back an estimate with optional items on it for $1500 per dog. I thought $4500 for teeth cleaning? They said they have specials and February. We may get another estimate. I think they should have broken down the charges into 2 separate papers. The vet acted like it was probably gonna be $350 per dog. I really think the way everything was presented was overwhelming. I think we will try to get another estimate. I have to say we really like the office. We really like the veterinarian. We're just really confused on our estimate. Could you imagine 3 dogs at $1500 each? That's $4500. Let that sink in.

Money grabbers. Watch out for this vet. Brought my cat in with a routine injury. My cat was barely examined, misdiagnosed, and then we were pushed to pay for services that were absolutely unnecessary at the time. Took him to a different vet where they were able to easily diagnose him, and treat him for half the price that this vet was asking. If you don’t have money to throw around, this is not the vet to take your precious pets to, as their main focus is profit.

They always take such great care of my pets and are always welcoming. They are meticulous in their care and put effort into making sure your animal is treated well with the best possible interventions. I've never had trouble bringing my pets in when they've had an emergency.

Took our standard poodle in because she was having seizures and the staff and Dr were wonderful. We are new to the area and have not established a vet yet so I was worried that would be an issue but it was no problem at all. We will be using Coal Mountain Animal Hospital from now on.

Took our 13.5 year old Golden here and they refused to see her because she did not have her rabies vaccine. We explained that she has been tested for the antibodies and she has more than the required level of antibodies to exempt her from needing a rabies vaccine, but they still refused to see her. Said it was just their policy. We have chosen not to give her the rabies vaccine since she has gotten older as our 16 year old lab died from it several years ago. We’ve had numerous vets tell us that if the antibody levels are sufficient, no rabies vaccine is needed.

These guys are incredible. They treat me and my baby girl like family(baby girl meaning dog) they know us by name. The doctors here will not try and take your money, they truly care, and want to make sure you are not spending extra money on care or treatment that you don't need. Because they understand, these aren't just animals, they are our family!

Coal Mountain Animal Hospital is a great place to take your pets! Last visit was a nail trim for my dogs (pit/lab and lab/shepherd) with an annual checkup for one of them. When the vet tech took my pit back for his nails trim, on their way back I could hear a few people behind the door be like "oh look, he's coming to say hi to us" and you could just hear laughter. He comes back in tail wagging and everything. The vet techs and the veterinarian know my animals and make that effort to get to know the animals which is great!

My dog was hit by a car and I drove him to Coal Mountain Animal hospital and the ladies there met me in the parking lot fully prepared for our arrival. Sadly my dog didn't make it and the doctors and nurses there were so very kind to me and really made this tragedy easier to bear. Thank you ladies of Coal Mountain, you are all angels.

Wonderful place who loves our pets as much as we do. They remember our dogs as soon as we walk through the door. The remodel is beautiful, but the surrounding traffic makes it a bit difficult to leave.

They always make time for my Koda. We get his nails trimmed often, and they do a phenomenal job. So quick! I absolutely LOVE this doctor's office, and I'm super particular about where I take my precious baby. They treat him like he's a star. I will never go anywhere else!

I took my pup in for her second visit to coal mountain animal hospital today. They remembered her by name when I called and booked the appointment… the same day. The facility is amazing and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I showed up a few minutes early for an allergy shot originally prescribed by a different vet and was gone before my scheduled appointment time. Love this place.
