Tried to pick up some running shoes after work, there were no employees on that half of the store, and when a guy did help me he just kept saying they didn’t have my size in the shoes I asked for

I attempted to purchase the Blitzball torpedo bat in this store. I called ahead to confirm it was in stock. I have been on a wild goose chase for days on end and I thought it would end. I spoke with. A women on the phone who very confidently claimed they had them. My hopes were at an all time high. I showed up in the store and was utterly disappointed when I was searching for the bat and it was no where to be found. I confronted a worker about this problem and he claimed they have been out of stock for days. I am disappointed, do not trust people on the phone.

Carson helped me today with a Yeti. He took the time to find what I wanted. Greatest customer service !! Awesome manager!!

There's this one employee (forgot his name) but he was sorta ginger, he was the most awkward sales associate. When I was at check out and put in my number, it said I didn't have an account! That's crazy because I had my husband Jason Tatum sign up for it. But that's besides the point; they were very sanitary and clean especially the team sports department. Keep up the good work, fellas!

DO NOT SHOP HERE THEY ARE THIEVES!!! These employees blatantly stole my pickup order I placed for a pair of New Balance shoes. I was at home in bed when I noticed I received an email that my shoes had been picked up which was not possible considering I was at home and do not have any pickup persons added as well as anyone else who knew I purchased the shoes. The store lied to me and refused to fix the problem. One manager was so slow that he said someone must have in the last few hours went on the black market and made a fake copy of my ID to go in to my local store and steal a $90 pair of girl shoes… are you well?? Only someone insane would think that’s a logical reason. Then they lied to customer service saying they saw an email when that is also not possible. We will let the police review the footage and determine what the truth was because this is insane and we aren’t going to just let this go and allow this pathetic business to steal from us. I’ve truly never experienced anything like this that can be so easily debunked with security footage that they haven’t shown any of us. Just know we aren’t going to rest until those at fault are dealt with accordingly because we have lots of money and lots of time ♥️♥️

Returned a shoe that I bought online and was give a $20 off coupon, so I decided to look around. Found a shoe I wanted to try on, but the employees were so terrible they basically avoided me for 20 mins with a shoe in my hand. I finally just dropped the shoe and walked out, because it was obvious they were hiding in the back not wanting to work. Pretty bad when you give up 20 free dollars because the customer service is so bad.

The associates I rencountered at this store are a dream! I was unfamiliar with the area as we were in Cummings, GA for a soccer tournament. We forgot a few items, so I went online to buy what we needed. Unfortunately, I selected the wrong store from my phone using the store locator option. Needless to say, the items were NOT there when I arrived to pick up my order. A wonderful associate went above and beyond to help me. He asked a young lady to check storage for one of the items. To my surprise she did without complaint and brought out several options for me to consider. Then, the young man went to the sales floor and found the other items I needed, offered to call the other store to cancel that pick up order all so I wouldn’t have to drive out of my way in an unfamiliar area. I have NEVER received this kind of service at any sporting goods store on my end of town! Unfortunately, I did not get the representatives’ names. However, their kindness, compassion, and above-and-beyond customer care is not forgotten.

Very well put together store but as soon as I walked in a tall male worker (looked like a manager) decided to make a very rude comment about my dinner valentines outfit. He says “ Very overdressed and confusingly dressed”. I don’t know know why he felt that was necessarily to degrade a teenage girl but ok. Wont be returning.

Years ago, when they caved to political pressure and stopped selling guns and ammo, I took them out of my consideration set and haven't looked back. My wife recently bought some baseball pants there online (unbeknownst to me) that were too small, and I took them back to ths store. The in-store return of an online purchase was easy, and refunded to my credit card, which was a big plus. Then they gave me a coupon for $20 off if I spend $100 in the next three hours. I thought I'd give it a try. After about 45 minutes in the store, it's a lot like Academy but with a smaller selection in all departments and no firearms, archery, or ammunition. It literally has a smaller selection in every department when compared to Academy and is a few bucks more expensive. Staff were moderately helpful. I should have stuck with my original thought process, I won't be going back.

Shouldn’t be hard to have a staff member go through the shoe inventory and order the sizes you don’t have in stock! This is why people order online because they don’t have to waste the time and gas to go to places like this to say they don’t have your size!
