“I have a future goal of being able to own and safely use a pistol. I knew I needed to both practice and take proper training to do just that. After searching online, I came across Bullseye here in Cumming. As a handicapped patron, I wasn’t sure if they would be able to help. However, I was very pleasantly surprised that they would easily be able to teach me how to be safe and become comfortable with my own pistol.
Today I had my handgun safety training with Michael. The course ran for three hours and Michael is such an excellent teacher! He very clearly spoke through the training materials, taught me the proper techniques to safely handle a pistol, and helped me practice with a Glock (loaded and unloaded).
Michael’s teachings were really easy to understand and replicate. He answered every question I had, and I will be hearing him say “thumbs!” In my sleep for a while. When we moved from the classroom to the range, he was right there providing adult supervision, as I got a feel for how to actually fire a pistol.
I am really looking forward to coming to the range on a regular basis and rent the various handguns to find the right one for me. I am also excited to be able to practice the safety lessons I learned today, and become an expert gun owner.
