Priya was wonderful today! We are new to the area, ordered many items online and for some reason, they were all canceled. So we came in to purchase everything and Priya was amazingly helpful by writing down the aisle number for each item (they were A LOT of items). Her helpfulness saved is so much time and we are grateful. Priya is an asset to your team!

Great customer service, Conner was very helpful, bought a dryer here after been to Lowe’s for almost an hour without any help, Conner was there & helped me, was in & out in less than an hour, Conner explained the difference in the brands, sizes & warranties on each, thank you Conner, I recommend Home Depot over Lowe’s any day

As someone who works in construction, Home Depot is like a second home to me. I’ve been to many locations, each with its strengths and weaknesses, but today I was really impressed by the Home Depot near Exit 12 off GA-400 in the Cumming area. Their lighting section had a great selection of canless recessed lights, and I was surprised by the pricing. I usually buy online from Amazon because it’s cheaper, but today I found 8-inch canless lights for just $19 and some change — great price and solid quality. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Unfortunately I have to give the Home Depot I’m Cummming Ga at Marketplace a two star rating. Very unusual for Home Depot even under the most trying times Home Depot is pretty solid. However my visit the this particular Home Depot today left my very dissatisfied. I had returns to do- which were, I am sure for the cashiers a little frustrating because there were quite a few items bought at different times and different locations throughout Ga. One of the cashiers a young lady handled things very well. The other Older lady, was quite difficult, She stated several times to myself and my wife that she was supposed to clock out 15 minutes earlier.
I can understand her frustration and wanting to leave at her designated time. However that is something she should discuss with her store manager. Certainly not something she be so vocal about to the consumers. I was also surprised at her unwillingness to return several boxes of tile that I had purchased. She did return most of it which were the corner pieces . At first she did not want to. She said because it has been over 90 days. Once I showed her per my Hole Depot Pro account I have 361 days to make returns. Keep in mind all of this tile including tye ones she did agree to return were purchased at the same time on the same ticket. Which clearly showed on my Pro account dashboard. So I requested to speak with her manager. Which I had to request several times. Before she did call Amber who represented herself to be the store manager. Once Amber arrived she stated that they could return it but would only be able to give me $.01 per SF. My pro account showed that I purchased it for $7.99 per SF. Her explanation was that is was a discontinued item. So I scanned the bar code with my pro account scanner and it clearly showed they still sell that same exact material for $7.99 per SF. Once she saw that. She then said it was an online only purchase and stood firm that they could only return it for $.01 per SF. Then I hit locate at stores nearby and almost every other store had it in stock for pickup today the same day. Then she told me that she as all she had as willing to do is to return it for $.01 per SF. But I could return it to one of the other stores that had it in stock and they would return it for the correct price of $7.99 per SF.
This is several boxes of tile which weigh approximately 50 lbs per box. Which makes it even worse. I have been shopping Hole Depot for a very long time and purchase more than $500.k annually in various materials. Which I understand is really irrelevant, other than the fact that I am familiar with it’s the return policies and I know for certain that the manager Amber could have returned those items.
Which would have been the only reasonable approach from a customer service standpoint. But to tell myself and my wife that we can load it back up and drive 10-15 miles to the next Hole Depot to get the correct return price the materials. In the future I will be driving on to the Dawsonville or Gainesville location.
When I purchase from Home Depot. It is obvious to me that this particular Home Depot has management issues.

Getting worse every day! Paint department slacker people. I purchase a satin black and the person behind the counter told me to come back in about 15 minutes to have my pair ready. I went to get the rest of the stuff that I need for my project. 25 minutes past, I get back to the paint department to get my gallon of paint. Today I have everything set up ready to be painted what a surprise he didn't mix my paint. Now I have to get back there tomorrow and make sure that he really gave me the correct color. It bothers me so much! no only that... the waste of time.

Shout out to Joey and Lori for EXCELLENT customer service. I bought a floor model dishwasher on Sunday July 6th which fell after the holiday and no doubt left any retail location short staffed. The store was very busy and the day was sweltering hot. I was the next in line for help in the kitchen department and Lori had just been told she could go to lunch at 3:00pm- Lori helped me before leaving and i was asking for the floor model which required someone to unbolt it from second shelf and take it down, wrap it and get it onto a cart. Lori went and asked another associate (older gentleman) for help and he came over to look at the machine, accessed a need for a certain size tool and left to go get one but never returned. When she went to find him he told her he didn’t have the tool and physically could not help her. Lori found the tool and did it herself until Joey came over to assist but that was only after two other male associates came over and watched her but walked off without attempting to offer to help her. Joey and Lori both went above and beyond for the customer and did an excellent job!
