Referred by my g.p doctor to this practice. She gave me the names of 2 of her favorite doctors in the Northside group and Dr. Gangasani was one of them. I liked Dr. Gangasani and thought he did a great job of following up on my complaints. The front desk was a little confusing, since there were apparently 2 practices receiving patients there, but it wasn't a big deal. What is a big deal (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5) is the tendency of Northside to NOT TELL YOU that some of the places they will refer you to for further testing charge a lot more than other equally-good places you can have the testing done. In fact, they seem to steer you towards the places that are more costly to the patient and you have to ask the appointment people which of the multiple options of places to have the tests are the less expensive, which they gladly did. I was thankful that I was made aware of this before I had the testing done. So, as in all things, buyer (patient/consumer) BEWARE!
Another problem with this group is that they overcharged me for the co-pay at all my appointments and did not issue a refund until I called with my insurance representative. They agreed that I was owed the amount we had calculated and it would be sent within 40 business days. I am left to wonder if the refund would have been sent if I was older or unable to keep track of my finances, since it is nearly 4 months after my first appointment and there was no mention of it from the practice.

Let me start by saying I was kind of nervous about going to a heart specialist once I entered this place. However, once I got there I got comfortable. It took me 30 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. There were a lot of patients there that day and they were running a little behind. I can understand that. Dr Gangasani is a pretty good guy. I had to do another EKG to see how I was doing after I took one from the regular doctor where my pulse was like 120 but blood pressure was good. Something like 117/72. This was after I came from the gym. The only thing I didn't like is the fact that I have to go to 3 different CVG offices to get services done. I came here for an evaluation, I had to go to Lawrenceville for the heart monitor, then I have to go to Duluth for the stress test, then back to Lawrenceville for the ECHO. That's the ONLY part I don't like. If it wasn't for that, I would have gave them a 5 easily if I was able to do all of these services in one place.

Today I attended an appointment at 8 am and it was 9 am and they did not attend to me, having notified them that I only had one hour to see the doctor. They passed on to other patients who arrived after me. I found it very unprofessional on their part and disrespectful towards me. I lost 2 hours of my work, for which I am not paid and having specified that I needed to be seen at the time scheduled in advance. The doctor's name is Sreeni R. Gangasani, MD, FACC. You should have more professionalism and think about the time of other people who attend consultations on time.Today I attended an appointment at 8 am and it was 9 am and they did not see me, having notified them that I only had an hour to see the doctor. Dr. Sandler is a top notch CardioVascular doctor. It would be hard to find find another as competent as their job. CardioVascular group has always been easy to work with and they communicate with you throughout the process.

Very unhappily with this practice. Thinking me being admitted in the ER and referred to them they would be a good Cardiologist. With a super high BP of 1298/106 at ER to a very low BP of 98/62 they still added a forth med and put me on a Holter monitor which only worked one day had to call to get another one which took 2 days to get in the mail and for it to only work for another 2 days. What is the point of having a holter monitor is it's not detecting any heart rhythm. BP still low and still can't do anything. I wouldn't refer them to anyone rather go back to Atlanta Heart Specialist instead.

Poorly run front office. 25 minutes and front desk employee was still unable to check me in. One doctor. My two cents is they have 10 offices and over book at certain locations and cannot handle the traffic efficiently. Book elsewhere since time is valuable. My experience was poor.
