Today I decided to do a review for Rita McAllister, who worked at Discovery Point Hamilton Mill for over 20 years and I had the joy of having her as my boss in 2021.
I have had several jobs and bosses, but I still think Rita has been the best, and I don't think anyone will ever beat her. As a boss she is demanding but very human, handling with special care the compliance of the rules, without losing sight of the fact that the children are the most important thing, and our reason for being. This was very evident to the parents, who were very fond of her.
She always made sure that all the classrooms functioned according to the requirements of the county and reminded us how important it is to know all the protocols. I remember when we had to do the CPR / AED / First Aid course Rita followed up for all of us to do it.
I thank her for all her teachings and patience in training the staff as well as the love and consideration. Any organization would be happy to have her as an employee because of her commitment and responsibility.

Don’t send your children here they kicked out my 4 year old at the time for behavioral issues which and I’ve heard they done this to more kids in the past and Rita is VERY RUDE she does not need to be working there!

Both my son and stepdaughter attend Discovery Point, and I couldn’t be happier with the care they receive. The staff truly builds strong relationships with the kids, making it a welcoming and nurturing environment. You can tell they genuinely care. The kids are always excited to go, and that says a lot. I’m really grateful we found a place like this—it gives me peace of mind knowing they’re in such good hands. Highly recommend!

I was worried about the place where I entered after 3 months from Korea, but thanks to the kind teachers, my child adapted well and spent it happily.

We are very happy that our son belongs to this great family. His adaptation has been incredible, especially since he comes from another day care center, but now he loves being at his new school! All the staff is friendly and they help you at all times. THANK YOU.

My toddler has been attending DPHM for almost a year, and we have been very happy with our experience. He absolutely loves his teachers and looks forward to going to school every day.
The daycare provides a clean, safe environment for kids and offers a wide range of engaging activities throughout the day.
Having an older child, we've experienced different childcare options, but DPHM stands out for the variety and quality of its activities (they recently introduced Chinese and Spanish classes too!).
The teachers and staff are incredibly communicative. They provide daily updates and photos through the app, which allows us to see how his day is going.
I genuinely look forward to these updates—they brighten my day!
If I had one suggestion, it would be to enhance the food menu by incorporating more nutritious options for lunch and snacks.
Since outside food is not allowed due to allergy concerns, families don’t have an alternative, but I would happily pay higher tuition for a more balanced menu.
Overall, we are very pleased with DPHM and highly recommend it to families looking for a nurturing and activity-filled childcare experience!

My 3.5 years old son is studying at this school. I feel very secure when sending him to study here, because the management and teachers are very attentive and friendly, creating a very good learning environment for the children to develop to their fullest potential.

If you are looking for the top childcare school and facility around the Auburn, Dacula or Buford location, I believe that this is the best place if you are looking for professionalism, education, nutrition, and location, and above all teachers and staff who are loving, caring and hard working. They will help you with financial stability and they also offer pre-K program which is great if you are planning to have your child go here and go up to pre k. They are preplanned with everything for the programs in terms of education, food, and menu rides for pick up and drop off. The owner is very diligent passionate in what she does. The location is so great because it is right next to exit 120 on 85 you come in and you go out quickly. You don't have to exit and go another mile or so and go get on back on the highway. This is personally beneficial for me since I drop and pick up my child when I commute to work. All in all, I have not had any issues and I recommend this daycare and school.

My daughter has been going to DPHM for about two months, she has had a hard time adjusting due to never being away from home. Her teachers and whole staff have been wonderful and so helpful with this transition. She LOVES her teachers, everyone is so caring and patient.

I am very grateful to the teachers and staff at this school. My daughter has had a wonderful time here—she has learned so much and made great friends. The teachers encourage her growth, fostering her independence and social skills. Seeing her go to school happily every day gives me great peace of mind as a parent. I wanted to wait for couple of months for my child to attend before I give my honest review. THIS IS THE BEST DAYCARE EVER! My kids have attended other daycares but this by far is the best. The teachers and staff are very polite, professional, attentive, patient,caring…I could go on and on. Most importantly my son LOVES going to school everyday and he has improved soooo much. I am one happy mama. Thank you Discovery Point Hamilton Mill.

Our daughter has been going to Discovery Point for a year and a half now, we are very satisfied. The facility is always clean, she has fun does cute crafts and learns new things! She’s always happy with the staff and other children as well. We will continue coming to Discovery Point Hamilton Mill and continue to recommend!
