Just got back from them and am absolutely disgusted.
There's no way to make an appointment for an oil change, so I was told over the phone that I should come in at 7:30-8:00am bright and early to get in the queue since "they fill up pretty quickly". Okay fine, I then wait over an hour and a half for an oil change and everything seems fine. I take it home, I only live 10 minutes away, and enjoy the rest of my day. Come morning, there's a huge pool of oil under my car and I realize it wasn't done properly. I also notice the tire pressure in my front left tire has severely low. So I call them back, explain the situation, and go back to the business.
They get to it pretty quickly. Something odd I noticed were the employees were pretty rowdy and laughed and joked quite a bit. Sure, I get it, we all have to get through our shifts somehow, but I also heard an entire conversation between a man at the front desk and someone else about someone in prison for a suspended license, lawyering up, and spending the night in jail. Something tells me it wasn't work related and I certainly didn't want to be a part of that awkward conversation... Another customer came in with her daughter and complained that she found a nail in her tire and deduced that it came from the business, something I believe because of what happens next.
Within another 30 or so minutes, they call my name. I go up and the girl at the front is charging me $10 out of the blue! She said that they needed to tighten the valve for my oil issue and they patched a hole in my tire where a nail was. I found that interesting; 1, that they wouldn't just waive it since I had to come all the way back here for something THEY messed up and 2, that it was conveniently another issue some woman had when her and her daughter came in and they explained that the nail came from their business. I was thinking they were lucky I didn't ask for a refund for the oil change they screwed up and now they're demanding money for something I could have done by myself for nothing at all? Unbelievable.
I know I can't prove the nail came from them, but I've driven up and down this road for 6 years and only AFTER I come back from Joey do I have a nail lodged in the car??? I don't think so.
How odd that two people, who haven't had the issue before coming to Joey Watkins, just so happen to run over a nail and need it patched for $10. I didn't even ask them to do that and they didn't even tell me that they were going to, just held my keys hostage to charge me AGAIN, despite their incompetence the FIRST TIME!
NEVER COME TO THIS LOCATION! I'm living paycheck to paycheck as a full time college student and they can't even do something as simple as an oil change without someone accounting for it. Go to Lawrenceville.

The customer service here has always been top notched. The team truly cares for the customers and provides honest answers to the issues. The prices have been great. No complaints any time I've brought my vehicles in. Highly recommended

I am highly impressed and thankful for Joey Watkins tire and auto. I blew a trailer tire out in the way from Richmond to Atlanta and they were able to square me up. From one shop owner to another I’m happy to know there are still shops out there willing to help and do what it takes. Fully rec this shop to anyone who needs a solid spot to take their car(s).

Super thankful for Joey Watkins tire and auto for helping me out. I’m from Richmond Virginia trailering a classic to Atlanta and blew a trailer tire on the highway. They got me squared up w 4 new trailer tires and got me back on the road quick! Even got to sit and talk shop w Mr Watkins for a little bit. Joey Watkins is a great choice! Everyone there is extremely helpful and honest. They always point us in the right direction if they are not able to do the repair we need, and their recommended shops show the same professionalism that we love them for. Highly recommend.

The people that work here are a class act top to bottom and I received the best most clearly and patiently explained service from this wonderful location. I originally came in for brake pad replacements (after misguided advice) and 2 new tires and instead of charging premium for services I didn’t need, Kaitlyn (apology if spelled wrong) took the time to explain every detail to ensure I got correct info about every service after the work was done. Not to mention I have never found a better price than they quoted me even after going through “discount” services in the past. This will 100% become my go to spot for anything auto repair. If I could give 100 stars I would.

It is not often that I leave reviews, but I am so pleased with this place! Thought I had to come in for a brake change and oil change. They looked at my car, changed my oil for a very good price, and let me know that my brakes were fine! Whoever had told me I needed them was wrong. I appreciate their honesty and fair pricing. They’re not trying to take advantage of anyone and everyone I’ve interacted with on the phone and in person is very very kind. I’m coming here from now on for any of my automotive needs! Thanks, y’all!

Joey took care of my truck that had a tire going down . We had a problem with the wheel but they assured me that it would be taken care of.

They are really great people and they do a lot for the local community. Just a Heads up they don't do work on motorcycles, cruisers, etc just for anyone in the future wanting to know.
