My bowl of cereal tasted off this morning. I'm trying to figure out what's different. Turns out it wasn't the cereal. It was the Almond Breeze milk I purchased from Dacula Kroger YESTERDAY expired 11 months ago. April 05 2023. How in the world have they not cleared inventory that is that old from their shelves!? Bad management that doesn't care if you and your family are poisoned.

Large selection of meat and produce. Freshness of either can be hit or miss, although it has been better lately.

I was very clearly racially profiled by the asset protection Asian woman who was at customer service and started walking noticeably faster once I started making my way to self-checkout with 1 gallon of water then continued watching me along with the self check out attendant. If you’re going to racially profile, don’t make it so obvious.

The two humans at the self check out were very helpful. Make sure you look at the signs closely for any price discrepancies and while at check out watch those prices. In my personal opinion, I think they make millions of extra $$ on mistakes and misleading signage. Hardly any staff to get help from. I think they just want us to shop from home. They are taking the fun out of shopping.

Update: A couple weeks ago I did come to get sushi. I don’t like it as much since they changed the offerings but it’s quick and easy. I was in a rush and also had my 4 year old, so grabbed plain tuna and salmon rolls and went home. I sit down to eat, pop one in my mouth and the rice is hard! Plus it tasted weird. I then look at the cover and it had expired THREE DAYS EARLIER. How does that happen????! How do you have sushi sitting out that is 3 days old. I was so pissed I went back to return it. The girl at customer service was super young and didn’t really care. I got a refund but I know it wasn’t reported. I definitely will never be getting sushi here again. Kroger management needs to do something!—————-I typically shop at Publix, but I always came here for their sushi because Publix doesn’t have a big sushi area. I would also occasionally shop here because they do carry somethings Publix doesn’t. But I absolutely loved their sushi here. But within the last month they must have changed their sushi chef or something and the quality and options have gone downhill. They no longer serve some of my favorites (such as inari as well as certain rolls). And the regular tuna roll is some mushy tuna mixture instead of a regular piece of plain tuna. I’m so disappointed because I work from home and would come here 1-2 times a week to grab lunch. Also, they have one bagging guy here who has really really bad body odor. I’ve passed him on more than one occasion and it’s always the same. They really need to ensure their workers come to work clean and presentable.I used to really like this Kroger but lately it’s really gone downhill.

The self checkout machine didn’t like which hand I used to scan items and accused me of theft. I had to wait minutes while they reviewed footage before I could pay. Kroger made me feel like a criminal for trying to pay for my groceries I’m never shopping at any kroger again and I hope their store burns down. Brilliant way to treat your customers.

Rude manager. Also the lady at the exit only tells non minorities to have a good day as they exit..over three times I’ve witnessed her greet customers and tell them to have a good day but when I pass right behind them it’s no acknowledgment. I decided to tell her to have a good day yesterday maybe she’ll lighten up and actually speak to everyone when doing so.

I'm a loyal Kroger shopper, purchasing from Kroger for my family since I've run my own household. I've shopped at the Dacula location since moving to Dacula 5 years ago. Today, with my husband, 6 yr old son and 17 month old daughter, Brandy, in loss prevention followed my family around the entire store and as we headed to the cash register. Of course, this was the day we left our card at home, and as my husband left the store with my kids to get the card as I stayed behind, Brandy shook her head as they walked out- we assumed she did this because she thought her belief had been validated. I spoke with Brandy and the Assistant Manager, Tim, about my experience as a black woman shopping in America and how I want that to change for my kids. Brandy explained she was not following us, and as someone who has worked in retail, it sounded like she was giving me the party line; however, she handled the situation professionally and Tim did a wonderful job managing the situation. I pray Brandy and Tim took my words to heart and that others do not experience what my family did today. I hesitated to comment, but I think it's important to share honest and fair feedback for other shoppers.By the way, we DID purchase our $350 groceries ?

This Kroger is going down hill, fast!!!!! They replaced 6 of their "You-Scan" lanes with 2 "You-Scan" conveyer belt lanes.... the few open check out lanes have you bagging your own groceries. So over shopping here!

Like someone else said before, it is a hit or miss with this location. No buggies or no one bagging, which is not a problem unless the person in front of you waits for the cashier to scan and bag as they watch, holding up everyone else in line. If it wasn't for the gas incentive, I might stop, or just get costco gas.

Like this Kroger, however went to get a cake made for a gender reveal party, and the lady working yesterday was rude the whole time. Acted like we were bothering her asking very simple questions, and like it was too hard to get the cake book for us to look at so we left and went to Publix and had a great experience. Worth paying them more for better service.
