As a black woman I have been to this store a few times and have been watched and followed and it is SO important that we understand our rights as consumers sustaining business that stereotypes us but sell DIRECTLY to us!!!
So I would like to drop a gem!!! This location imposes a $5 minimum purchase in order to use a DEBIT card which is illegal in GA.
So the next time anyone here is enforcing that you can simply report this business to both Visa and the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Visa.com has a simple form to explain how this merchant is breaking their rules or you can contact your bank to report the merchant about visa violations. (Pictures posted)
It’s so sad because I read a review about how some black girls got the cops called on them by the owner being accused for stealing yet they are breaking the law and stealing from their customers every single day to offset processing fees!
Edit: to offer a solution I seriously recommend Bella Beauty supply it’s 5x bigger than this store (or Beauty Master which is even bigger)
and the workers NEVERRRR follow you and it’s more affordable; its been almost 6 months of me finding a better alternative to this store ;)

Why is that one lady so nasty? Does she not like black people. I was so nice to her, I simply asked her if she had any more scarfs not on display and in a bag, she screamed and said open your eyes and look. Because I’ respect all, I told her politely “ma’am as you can see if you walk over here there are no more can you please assist”. She walks over and realizes she was wrong and says “I’ll give you the one on display for discount”
Ma’am do you not realized you yelled at me for no reason. You were rude to a paying customer. I spent over $100 that’s day and just wish I would have just spent my money elsewhere. The rudeness and disrespect and openly racist energy is just uncalled for. So disappointed when we spend so much money there. I’ll go to others in Winder or Lawrenceville and don’t mind traveling even further to Duluth for good customer service.
They don’t realize, customer service goes a long way. Be nice. Be kind. Simple.

I will never shop here again the guy at this store got mad because my daughter which is 9 was picking out her hair stuff he told her she needs to hurry up and it wasn’t even closing time it was at 11:35am when I told him his is being rude and not to rush her she is just a kid he called us the N word and told us to leave so I advised black people to stop shopping here and go to another place

It's a large store, and very convenient to my location. They have a large inventory of items, unfortunately, they didn't have what I was specifically looking for so I didn't purchase anything this time. I will definitely go back for other items I need.

The racial profiling is obvious and ridiculous. They continously watch you and act like they are organizing shelves near you to see what your doing.
I don't understand why we as African Americans continue to give our money to people who don't like nor respect us.
I literally put the items I was going to purchase back on the shelf because I refuse to fund idiotic ignorance

The place itself really is that bad, the bad reviews are somewhat true but overall it’s not a bad beauty supply. Been there multiple times and it’s been the same hello when you walk in as you continue with your day. Invest your money or don’t, the place really isn’t what the hate makes it

Probably laundering money has they only accept cash
